I decided to try something "new" this year. Instead of placing a bunch of little orders throughout the year, I decided to place a whopping big ANNUAL order!
I ordered several sets that I knew I'd get throughout the year and I really stocked up on all of my paper and stuff. I ended up with a huge order and also got to take advantage of all the great hostess stuff.
I am really looking forward to that Brown truck next week! LOL

I'm putting in an order for just over $350 -that's all the money left in my business account. Now that I'm doing the hobby thing, I don't need to get new stuff all year long. Though, I might have to package some of it up in smaller boxes so I can have presents on more than one day!
I just did that last week. Partly because I was in pending status and had to make up the difference. But when I calculated getting the higher hostess benefits and levl 2 set instead of a level 2, and the difference not paying taxes and shipping, I got an extra $150 in product. Better than placing another order in a few weeks and getting no hostess benefits.
I placed a big order, too. I got the Hostess Appreciation Set (Furnished With Love), a Level two Hostess Set, and somewhere around $70.00 in free stuff! I belong to a six month club, too, so I'll be ordering every month through December. October will be my hostess month, so I'll be putting in another big order then (Though not as big as this one!). My order came in today. I got a huge box from Brown and even got my backordered stuff that was delivered by US mail! I've got six sets cut and mounted and will finish the other 10 (or so!) tomorrow, then I can play. Yippee!!!

While this would be cool to do - what if there are other hostess sets that you want? I have actually had hostesses want to split their party into two smaller ones so that they could get more hostess sets and a little less on free merchandise... I personally think I would go through withdrawals if I couldn't order more often!
I thought about doing that but then figured that I would see stuff throughout the year that would change my mind on sets that I want. I'd end up buying throughout the year anyway. We are not even a month in and I've already added about 10 sets to my wish list that were not there at first because of samples I have seen on this site.
Wow, when I was reading about the huge orders, all I could think about was poor Mr. Brown's back!!! I hope he has a good back belt and bends with his knees!
As mentioned above, I'm placing a big order soon. I'm sure I'll order again with b-day and Christmas money. Plus my regular allowance will cover a small order every so often. I was just finishing up my business with a "bang" - so to speak!
LOL...
I'm also shooting for my first quarter $1500 sales for free stamps and 1 recruit for 2 more stamp sets, so I'm working REAL hard to come through with all that. I have one more demo scheduled besides my own & I hope I make it. I'd REALLY love to get more free stamps!
Now to decide what smaller order to place for supplies for my upcoming demonstration.

I think I would go in withdrawls... I just ordered, have a party to go to for the next 2 months, then will order at Christmas time (Merry Christmas to me ) and then at SAB time too!! But by the SAB time hope to be a demo!! lol

I figure I can avoid that with my hostess rewards as I host workshops throughout the year!
As the subject line suggests, I may be deluding myself, but we'll see how the year goes!

Great idea Nan!! I'll have to try that. Maybe I could sneak an extra order in and just tell DH that it was back ordered stuff for a hostess. (Won't tell him that hostess is ME!    )
