Default What would I use for...

I'm looking to find a pen that can fill in my stamp outlines when I alter a stamp or it just doesn't fill in all the way when I stamp it and it's easy enough for me to correct with a pen. I tried using a gel pen but as soon as I rubbed ink on it, the black gel ink smeared. Is there a pen that would not smear with ink and/or alcohol markers?? TIA

the Copic Multiliners are perfect for this. You can fill in any missed liens and you can hand draw images to colour with Alcohol markers.

The Pigma Micron markers are perfect for this; the pen nibs are available in different sizes so you can choose what you need. I have used these for years and absolutely love them. I use either a .03 or a .05 for most of what I do.

Copic Multiliners would also work well for this, I think, but I've never used them and don't know how the nib sizes compare to the Pigma Microns. Maybe someone else will chime in!

(Someone chimed in before I could get my reply posted - great minds and all that!)

I just want a black one. Can I get either of those mentioned in just a single? If so, do you know where abouts? Online of course.

Here's a set of 4 on Amazon. A bargain for only $12.80.

I was going to suggest the Pigma Micron pens (made by Sakura)as well, and I know that you can get them individually. I've bought from Dick Blick, as well as my local stamp/scrap store. I like having both the 02 and 05 on hand for thin/thick options.

I followed your link, Annette, thinking that they'd be the Microns. No worries that they were the Copics because I just typed in a new search and found just what I wanted for what seems to be a good price. I want the varying sizes to use for that Zentangling I'm "going" to do. Uh huh, someday.

I'm putting those on my b'day wish list.

I use the Microns and the Multiliners and have them in different widths. I tend to color first and then fill in the missing lines.

BCRibbon fill in pen solution

I just had that happen yesterday and I grabbed an extra fine tip Sharpie I had in my tool drawer. It worked perfect and does not bleed. I use it for fancy fine signatures or sentiments as well.
