Do you have Home & Heart, the ronald mcDonald House benefit set? That could work.
Or on the line - Help us 'hang out' at our new place
How about one of the hostess sets with a window, Little Hellos or the new Level 2 one with sweet in the name - Come see our new view
With the shape of things maybe use the square and the triangle together to make a house?
My friend used Kraft paper and cut it to look like the top of a moving box, then folded the flaps over and had the new home info. on the inside. You opened it like you would a cardboard box, and then the inside was the info. She tied it shut with hemp so it looked like twine.

How about making a window look wth either scraps - there's one like it in the little layers gallery - or using a square punch to make 4 holes that look like paned windows? The window idea really seemed so good at the time ...
could you run embroidery threaad or hemp betwen 2 eyelets to get a clothesline effect for the hanging out idea?
Anything with a fire or flame or steam (like Espress yourself) that gets the warm part?
How soon do you need these? Where are the really clever people? I'm dying out here ... good thing I'm not on Leno!

Hello,
Allof these ideas are great. I really like the house idea with the shape of things. I was thinking about using a template of a house, but I don't know where i might find one. Anybody know?
Thanks Shannon

This website has some interesting templates, maybe that could help you - they did have a template for a box that looks like a suitcase. Also a mug, and a barbecue apron - well, y'all will have to take a look. Hope this helps!

Good Morning Ladies,
Thanks for all the good advice. Aftter a long night I finally got an idea. I made a template of a house & stamped on that. So as soon as I finish it, I will be posting it for everyone to see.
Thanks again Shannon

I hardly dare say this, but there is a really cool house card in the current Hero Arts catalogue. The only stamps you need are alphabet stamps - and you could do that on the computer if necessary. It's a simple house shape cut out of paper, with different papers/cs to make the roof, door etc. My friend made one and used a tiny button as the door handle - v cool.
I know that you said you had already had an idea but I had to let you in on something that I saw at Target. They were selling (some people make money off of the simplist things) pieces of cardboard boxes the size of a card. On the box was printed something like - We are living out of boxes but trying to get settled...here is our new address...blah blah blah.
I thought that the box idea was cute.
Or use the dot invitation stamp on the box piece and invite people to help you unpack.
Just some rambling ideas. Good luck and can't wait to see the card you post.
