What is Stamp-a-stack 'SAS'
Hello Ladies,
What is SAS? Can you do that at stamp camps? Just trying to get ideas. Thank you very much. Maggie aka cebuana65 |
A stamp-a-stack is where you go and do just that - stamp a stack of cards. These vary depending on your demonstrator but usually there will be a couple of designs and you make 5 of each design. When I do mine the paper is all precut so you just stamp and assemble.

I have been to someone's house that does that - she has a shelf of clear shoe boxes (or plastic tubs) and all the material is in there to make the card. You just pick the one you want to make. Here is a picture of her shelves..

The stamp a stack I went to had 3 designs- 10 cards, you made 3 of two of the designs and 4 of the other.
It was a lot of fun. |
How much do people charge for SAS? I think that's much easier to do than demonstrating. Most of my customers have experience and can basically work on their own. thanks again.

Don't yell at me but is there any ethical question if someone comes in, makes 8-10 of one design or an assortment then sells them in a craft fair somewhere you don't know about? You are supplying everything, right? They may not be aware of copyrights etc. Just curious.... a friend of mine had a lss and did make & takes every week. A person came in regularly and made 8 of each of the 3-4 cards out, paid $1 each then sold them for $2-3 each. Does that seem right to you???

What a neat idea having them organized in clear show boxes so everyone can pick out what they want to make... Why didn't I think of that??? Oh yeah, I know why, I'm not even close to being that organized!!! :D |
I have been to several - usually we have made 4 or 5 cards of each design and maybe 4 or 5 designs. Prices have run about $1 or $1.25 per card. They are a very fun and easy way to make a lot of cards because the demo has everything precut.
I especially like the Christmas one. |

I'm planning on doing a SAS with my demo friend in Sept. and doing 10 cards (5 designs/2 of each design) for $15. That way everyone gets two of each design and can keep one and give one away or whatever they want.
