Question Does anyone know...

if it is possible to order Stampin' Up stamps from the French catalog through an American Demonstrator? I have seen a few cards in the galleries that used French SU stamps and I am wondering how to get them. I got on SU's website and browsed their French catalog, but don't know if I would have to contact a French demo or if my SIL who is a demo could order them for me. She's new, so I am sure she would have no idea.

Thanks in advance!
Amber

I don't think so. USA to USA, France to France. I think the best way to get something like that is to go ebay.

No, not allowed.

But, you could post here in the TRADE forum, ask a French demo to trade for something.

Are there really differences in the catalogs?

There are a couple of sets I've never seen, or they just stand out to me in the French catalog because the sentiments are in French and appeal to me more than they would in English. I love French stuff, so I am just interested in having a few sets in French.

Did you check the French Canadian catalogue? You may have more luck finding a french Canadian and shipping may be less.

Either way, international trade issues make it a huge no-no to sell across international lines. A Canadian demo cannot sell to me, in the USA. Just as your demo cannot purchase out of the French catalog, or have you purchase from a French demo.

The one approved way is to request a trade. I did that once and it worked out great.
