I discovered this amazing site a little over a month ago and since then haven't been able to leave it alone!!!! I am on here every second I get! It has gotten to the point of OBSESSION!!! My poor children are scrounging thru laundry baskets to find clean clothes, while I sit in front of my computer looking at the newest posts or reading all the forums.
Just wondering if I'm the only one with absolutely no self-control! I also want to know how you keep balance - do you set time limits? How do you keep the madness at a minimum??? :rolleyes:
Hi. My name is Dina, I'm an SCS-aholic. I leave my laptop on and check in thru-out the day. I check out the site first thing in the morning and last thing at night. I love the forums, and I look at the new gallery addititions daily. I squeeze in all the things I need to do around the house thru-out the day! My afternoons and evenings are for family time. I'm sure I'm on here my more than I should be, but I love it! Dina
Um...I am so addicted that I cannot believe I have not been fired from my job! LOL! I literally check in like every 15 minutes and always take time to read and reply to posts. :rolleyes:
I have to say - I don't have much to do at work - but when I do have certain things to get done...it's so HARD TO TEAR MYSELF AWAY FROM HERE!
are you considered addicted when you have dsl, leave SCS up all the time, and whenever you walk by the computer (which is often), you check in? lol i still miss tons of threads and i have no idea how some of you gals stay on top of them the way you do! mulitasking fools you are!

Hello...my name is Linda and I'm a SCSaholic! I'm glad I'm not the only one who has SCS up constantly. I check first thing in the morning, in between screens at work (when I'm on the clock), and it's the last thing I do before I go to bed at night. I'm surprised I have time to stamp I'm on this site so much.
Yep, been checking in here between household tasks today. Although this afternoon has been a little more so than usual because I got involved in one of the controversial threads and so I felt I needed to follow things more closely. But I do think this site is really cutting into my stamping time and that is not good considering how much money I'm putting into that particular hobby! I only have one card in the gallery that I submitted back in May! I need to get busy, seriously!

ETA: I just tried to go to another website. My fingers now just automatically type splitcoaststampers! I have to really stop and think if I need to go somewhere else.

Yep. So busy checking the gallery and the beautiful
cards, ideas, and everything else there that I rarely get back to the forums! So as long as I am here, thank you ladies who have posted to the gallery.
I don't have a way to post samples yet so I guess I am just resigned to viewing for now.

I try to limit myself to checking the first page of new posts and only looking at a few new gallery additions per day......note: i said TRY!
Me too, I am so addicted and I forget to often post something on the thread I just read. Cuz I am too excited to move on to the next one. LOVE this site, I think my boys are starting to feel rejected.

Yup!!! Guilty here too!!! Addicted and have to have a look every chance I get. So much so when I first joined I had only 7 sets of SU Stamps I now have over 45 of them and the new catalog. And I don't live in the US. LOL So you could say I am definately addicted.
No, I'm not addicted...I just CHOOSE to check the SCS site every morning and evening from home, when I need a break from work, when I check my e-mail, when I'm bored, when I need inspiration....:p

It's so nice to know that I'm not alone!!! That still doesn't help me get my dishes done tho!!! I think my DH would kill me if he knew how much time I really spent on here.
My name is Wendy and I'm an SCS addict and proud to admit it. It sure beats all the magazines out there! One of the best parts is that the gallery is updated every day! The DD gallery is awesome also.

I was beginning to think I was alone out there with my addiction. I feel much better now.
By the way, check out my gallery...I just uploaded a card (pawprints) and I hate it. It needs something...but I just don't know. So y'all feel free to take a look and offer suggestions. I like the idea of the card, just not the way it turned out. Help me, please!!!
Okay - so I just came back from a couple of days up North at the cottage and I'm so glad to be back so I can see what's new on SCS - must be addicted too! Oh well - there are worse things!
I only thought I was addicted last spring when I discovered this site. Not so. NOW that it's summer (teacher), I have truly become addicted. How do SAHMs and people who work on computers manage with this great site calling you like it's chocolate? I need help and limits. At least I'm not in denial :p
I have NO idea what you're talking about!!!! ;) the first 4-5 months i was glued to my chair! then i realized i still had housework, stamping/scrapping to do.....well....
so what i do is come here for about an hour or so, go do some work for a while, come back, catch up (repeat as needed)...that way IF dh comes home, i haven't vegg'd all day! :p
Anyone else out there ADDICTED to SCS???
