Default What size Acrylic blocks do you use the most? and Where do you buy them?

I bought a starter package from ebay but am not really thrilled with the sizes.

I'm trying to decide which sizes would be the best to stock up on ;o) so that at least 3 people can stamp together (me , my mom, and my dd) without waiting on blocks. Also I need to find the best place to buy from.

Thanks!

My favs are:

1x4 - good for sentiments
2x2 - small and medium images
3x4 - large images

I have about 10 more than that, but these are the ones I use! HTH

I use these from Inky Antics

http://www.inkyantics.com/acc.htm

They are all useful sizes. The sizes you will need will depend on what size the stamps are that you use the most.

I use the 2x6 a lot b/c I like to use my alphabets a lot. 2 x 2 is a must have. I am going to tell you that I am not a demo but I would have to say the best acrylic blocks out there are the CTMH ones. I like the nice curved handle like the stampin up blocks and the longer ones have a line so you can line up your letters for the alphabets. I know gmcbunny is a demo you could probably ask her if you want to place an order.

I use 2x2 alot and a long skinny one for words and alphas. I like CTMH (of course) but I also have some from Stampendous that are really nice too. I like ones that have the beveled edges on them, easier to use I think.
At CTMH we have a set of acrylix blocks that gives you a great "starter" selection at a discount

I'm so glad this thread is here! I was just talking to the machinist here who has been building experimental aquaria and he said if I gave him a list of sizes of plexi he would cut them down for me from scraps! I hope 1/2" plexi is a good thickness. He will also let me use one of his files to take the edges off. So I can just basically give this thread to [email protected]!
