I wish SU would bring on a mini catalog with their most popular retired sets for those people who did not start stamping until recently. One of may fav's Winter is Calling. I also like Wild West and Polar Pals.

I would like for them to bring back Fairyland. I stalked it on ebay for a while and always bid too low.
Actually, Nice and Easy Notes has been in the catalog forever. My first catalog was 2001-2002 and it was in there. Believe me, it has never come out of the catalog. Many people wish it would retire but, then again, many people like it.

My kick-myself-in-the-pants sets are:

Sage Advice
and
Long Time Friend

I have permanently 'borrowed' LTF from a friend but I feel guilty about it!
I can't find Sage Advice at all! I'd love to have them back!

The one I really think they ought to bring back that I do have is Botanicals. Its so versitile and has it's own background stamp!!!

All Aboard, For the Love of Chocolate.

I like the older sets much better than the newer cutesy designs.

Mary, our stories are alike! I had NO idea how to stamp or do any type of papercraft in November 2005 when I attended a workshop. I could not figure out how to work a punch, lol! Talk about the least likely person to ever sign up...anyway, I work a massive amount of hours through the end of January each year, so I missed the deadline on purchasing that cardinal. I bought it and half of the retired 2005 Winter Mini on eBay and then basically stalked down my demonstrator to become my upline. Decided I needed to get a little smarter about this whole thing.

Bam! Just like that, a new addict born - all because of a cardinal.

Botanicals
Wonderful Wings
Along the Shore

I have now purchased all of these and absolutely love them. However, I did have to pay an arm and two legs for Along the Shore on Ebay.

I really prefer the set of grapes and grapevine (don't know the name) that was in last years catalog over the ones in this catalog. I thought I had the set until I sat down to use it and realized that I had always used that set when I was with my mother...good reason, because it was HER set, not mine. Oops!

I'd have to say Fairy Nice. I passed on it thinking I wouldn't have enough uses for it. Which is crazy since I have a ton of sets that have never seen ink! Anyway this set has been one that has driven me crazy with regret, for not getting it.
I know there are others I'd like to get, but they don't bug me quite the same way as Fairy Nice does.

Polar Pals. At least a friend that lives nearby has it if I ever "need" to borrow it.

OK, I guess I've been stamping waaayyy too long, but I really miss some of the really, really, really old sets with LOTS of coordinating pieces, like Harvest of Friendship, Love Bakes (with the coordinating hutch and old-fashioned stove), Home & Heart (the door with all its decorations, not the Ronald McD set), Decorator Shelf, Country Windows, Holiday Hannah, Little by Little, Nellie the Nest Lady, etc. I've managed to pick up some of these older sets off the bay (at decent prices), but there are still a few holes in my wish list. Oh, and Architectural Elements or something similar but more updated maybe.

Now that they'll be putting out two catalogs each year they'll need more ideas to fill them up, so maybe some of our wishes will actually come true, don't ya think???

If I can only pick one set, I guess Godspeed would be it. If they chose to reissue most of the 2002-2003 catalog I'd be happy. I am slowly stalking sets I love from that catalog, but it's getting expensive.

Ok that was a daaa moment for sure. I read it quickly and took it as which one would I return. Guess I really need my glasses adjusted now. lol

My vote would be for Coast To Coast. I never stamped when that set was popular.

Now that would be too good to be true!! Imagine the excitement...not to mention the money SU would probably make off that one!!!! Come to think of it, maybe not such a good idea...I'd probably go bankrupt!!!
But it would be great..hey, SU should get the money, not the bay, right?

I would vote for Godspeed (was forced to sell on ebay when I was in dire straits, but got $50 for it) and the Carnival Fun wheel - ALWAYS get outbid on ebay for that one.

Not sure if anyone mentioned this set. (I'll have more time to skim the threads later.) My fifth upline is demo #4, 5, or 6 (something like that, I think.) She showed us a set that absolutely cracked me up. I can't even remember the name of it but we refer to it as *the booger set.* he he he ... It had an image of a booger and a phrase that said something like, *I picked this just for you.*

Sorry about the sick humor but ya either love it or ya hate it. Not sure which for me. I just think it's funny.

I like Meow Meow and I would like to see the hutch and stove and definitely the chore chort. Then there is the chocolate one, but I am not sure of that one because that was before I was into SU! Oh and how the list goes on.

I could make a pretty penny off some of the sets that you guys listed -

Coast to Coast
Fairy Nice
Terrific Tulips
Silent Night
Dots & Daisies BG

and a few others that were mentioned here.

I guess I know where to go if I wanted to get rid of some of them!!

I want that set back. I can't get that set for the life of me, and I am doing a great memory book with my Gparents, and I would die for that set! Just doesn't seem to be in my cards right now! The other sought after set is Tall Tales, fortunately, I got one :0)

I loved stipple butterfly which was sold as a single stamp rather than a set. I wish that there was that option sometimes. I love sets, but sometimes one beautiful stamp fits someone's pocketbook and makes gorgeous cards. Fortunately, I have this one and has always been one of my favorites. I loved easy elegance, which I think never was one on the market, but as a hostess reward. Love this one!

I too was shocked when Christmas Cardinal didn't make the list. It's such a beautiful set and is so different from the rest of the Christmas sets in the big catty.
