The most recent for me would be Trees Three. I don't know what I was thinking! It just doesn't inspire me at all.

I can't remember the name off the top of my head, but I believe it is called What's for Dinner. It is the recipe card one. What on earth am I going to do with that? I've only used it twice. Once to actually make recipe cards for a cookie exchange, and the other to use the small food images to make mini coaster magnets. What a waste!

Bud Basics. I love it- but now I have a SAB set that looks almost identical.
Maybe I'll just have to use them together. The only card I've made using Bud Basics has always gotten great reviews. (Wow... I need to make more than one card per set!)

I think it's called Elegant Ornaments. I can't seem to use it for anything.

On Gossamer Wings, when I first started stamping I thought it was so pretty, but I can not use that set to save my soul! I really have to sell it!

This is so funny! Stipple Celebrations and Treat Yourself are two of my favorite SU sets. My biggest regret is Handpainted Petites. I got that at the first SU workshop I hostess and could never get it to work for me. I recently gave it away as an RAK. I hardly ever use Noteworthy. In fact, that's true for me of most SAB sets. Fun thread - I'll be following it!

"Sketch It" was one of the first sets I bought and I don't EVER use it! I used it to make Christmas cards one year and that's it. I like the sayings that go with it, but that's really about it @ this point. I need to just get rid of it I think. <SIGH!>

Definitely Petal Prints for me. I would rather have the burst into bloom. Anyone up for a trade?

Believe it or not All the Best. I make cards with it but it doesn't do anything for me. It was one of the first stamp sets I bought and I did it via the recommendation of my rep, she said there were so many beautiful cards you could do with it.

I hate to admit that I have more than a few....but most of them are sets I bought when I first started stamping and trying to find my style. The first one that comes to mind is: The Fine Print. I don't think I've done one thing with that set in the 3 years I've had it. Love Ya! is so unloved that I had to search the gallery for the name of it!
A few others include: Stipple Celebration, Fun Filled, Fabulous Four, Gently Falling, Kid Cards, Mini Messages & Tag Alongs.
Looking over this list I'm seeing a pattern of sets that were either on sale or that, even though they weren't my style at all, I bought them thinking they would be versatile and I could justify money spent on them. Sadly, in the end, the money I spent was a COMPLETE waste because they weren't my style and haven't used them.

For me, it's Haute Coutre. I've made a couple cards with it, but not real pleased. It just sits on my shelf.

By Land. Just couldn't make a card with it. Mounted it then gave it away as a door prize at an open house!

Oh, great question!
The one set I regret the most is definitely Stipple Celebrations. Hate it!
Other sets I *had* to have but never use, and wish I never bought...
Alphabits
Flower Filled
Drawing on Nature (I still love the images in this set, so I can't trade it away. But I find it very difficult to use.)

For me it would be Smorgasborders and I believe the set was called Mini Mates or something. They were both SAB sets I just HAD to have and have hardly used.. Something else I never use any more is my Canvas BG stamp, but that's because it got upstaged by Linen .
I also have some products from SU I no longer use, like the watercolor pencils (love them but love my crayons better) and the designer paper that matches the Looks Like Spring set, I just can't seem to make anything look good with that so I think it will be used in scrapbooks.

It's interesting to see some of my fave stamp sets listed here. |
You took the words right out of my mouth . I can't stand my Figures of Speech set and its the only one I feel that way about. I have tried to find a use for it. I thought 'Oh I'll be able to make all these great cards for different occasions' HA what a joke that was. Tried about 3 or 4 different cards and they are all AWFUL! So it just sits and collects dust.

Quick cards from the holiday mini. Really liked what was in the gallery but when it got here I couldn't even put ink on it.

I have to agree with Stippled celebrations. Sadly that probably means no one will want to trade me. It's not even mounted yet. I also had to have springtime fun. What a waste. My other had to have was "all the best" IT too is still unmounted. Oh if only I could have all the wasted $$$ back. So I could waste them some more.

Oh my gosh, so many, The Fine Print, Shapes and Shadows, Figures of Speech, any of the tag sets and the latest one Trees Three, I love what everyone else does with it, but I just can't do a thing with it.
I also haven't used my Big Bloom from Sell-a-Bration yet, in fact I don't think I have used any of the Sell-a-Bration more than once.
I'm going to rectify that this week! It's my personal challenge for this week, get out all my unloved sets and make and upload a card, I'm really excited now!
Anyone else up for the challenge?

Just a little giggle here for ya'll.....I just looked over on the 'bay and I think every single one of these sets we've all mentioned are for sale and ending within the next 24 hours! Guess there are other people that feel the same way about these sets. Sad huh?

Natural Beauty. I don't like coloring, which is a must with this set. And I just can't get it to work, even though there are stunning examples in the gallery.

Timeworn Trim (2005/2006 catalogue hostess set). I find it had to use and I keep trying and I never like the way things turn out.

I don't hate it and I do use it from time to time, but I wish I hadn't bought Little Somethings. At the time I was trying to choose between that and mini medleys, and I kind of wish I made the other choice. But, like I said, I do use it from time to time, so it hasn't been a total loss. Plus, the other set retired, ao at least I have a set that I can still demo with.

This thread cracks me up -- so many sets you have mentioned are ones I'd like to get my hands on and/or really like! Funny how one person can do a lot with a particular set, while the things I make with it look like I used my feet!! I'm thinking specifically about Because of You. There's just something funky about those stems to me... Greeting Galore? Ugh. And so many people can do great stuff with Heartfelt Thanks, but it leaves me cold.
That being said, I *LOVE* Fun Filled, Like it a Latte, and Trees Three. A few that have been mentioned I'm still waiting (for what?!) to use, but think I'll like them once they get inked.

I guess mine would be A Greeting For All Reasons & Brushstroke Alphabet. Oh, and also the Fanciful Flowers & matching brass template.

Mine has not been mentioned, because none of you were stupid enough to buy it! WET & WILD!!! What, just because we have a boat, I have to have a hideous and totally useless stamp set to match?

Okay, I'm taking cover when I say this, but for me it's the Halloween Hedgehog set - they are adorable, I just don't ever have any inspiration to do anything with them. Now, Carte Postal - I really like that one. I borrowed it from my upline after it was no longer available and regret not getting it. Oh well, maybe it will be in the new catalog, if only for me!!
