Default need some ideas

Hi there;
I'm posting in to ask for some ideas. I'm an aide in my sons' school. I work in 2 classes(mixed grades) for a total of 40 kids. I'm trying to get ideas for a 'survival kit' for the kids for X-mas. I know, don't groan!! Just with that many kids it gets kinda expensive so I figured if I start now I can get a little at a time and have the time to look around for some neat things. I'm going to stamp the usual popcorn holders and thought I'd do notepads and pens for some of the girls. But any suggestions to something you might have seen thats cool would be appreciated.
Thanks
Nadine

If you happen to have a Rollabind, you can make calendars for cheap (for the price of cardstock and discs). That always goes over pretty well.

I'd recommend you check out your local Target and see if you can find some fun stuff there. They had a ton of chiffon-type bags and stuff, just ready to craft!

Somebody on this site had a great idea (sorry I can't remember who). Stamp some images and then let the kids use them as coloring pages. You could do this on folded cardstock so that they can make cards.

thanks ladies. The calendar gave me the idea of a pocket sized one of a date book , as well as maybe a potpourri sachet. Grade 8 girls would go for that eh. I'm canadian so I don't have a target but there is Walmart so I can look there.
