Okay . . . I'm talking about just the stamps . . . not embellishments, papers, hardware, etc. I want to know how loyal you folks are to your favorite stamp companies. Are you a "prude" and only buy from one company? Or are you a "stamping slut" and will buy from any and every stamp company that has something even remotely cute? If you're in between, which end of the spectrum to you lean toward?
For a minute there, I thought LOL! stamp pimp equals another name for demonstrator, but then I realized, I'm not a demonstrator and I'm constantly trying to get people into stamping. I'm probably more of a stamp pimp than my SU demo (she's a hobby demo)!
Just call me an Equal Opportunity Stamper. For the most part, if I like it, I'll buy it and have stamps from A MuseArt to Whipper Snapper (and there are a whole lotta really great rubbah stamps companies between those two). Mounted, unmounted and/or clear, it doesn't matter so long as it's a good product and the company stands behind what it puts out.
How funny!! I meant "Peed in my Pants" but the other PIMP goes perfectly. I would say that I am a stamp pimp too!!!

I'm not long into this stamping caper and so far have stuck to SU! except for one lone single stamp that grabbed my attention one day. I can seriously tell it isn't off the same quality as SU! though.
Perhaps if I tried someone elses stamps from a different company i would be compelled to change but so far SU! has had everything i need (and then some!!) :o
I have a few companies that I tend to stick to, mostly because they sell styles that appeal to me, and for most of them also because of their angel policies. If I see something else I love from another company I will buy it though.
Another stamp slut here, I put it about a bit! My stamp custom that is! Aren't we just spoiled for choice these days too? Truly something for everyone.
Well, I hesitate to say it.... but I guess I am a stamping slut...My fav company that I purchase from is Penny Black - a huge number of my stamps are from that company, but I'll buy anything that I like - MFT, Whipper Snapper, Hero Arts, Stampablities, Stampendous, Clear Art Stamps, Impression Obsession, Stamp - IT, Woodware , Elzybells (UK line ) - and even the odd SU stamp!!! Why limit yourself to one company!!!!! Not me!
Just SU.. Well kinda once in a while if i see one at my LSS i will buy it but very rarely.. I like the wood mounted rubber i do have 1 non rubber and i absolutley dislike it i bought it to see what the buzz was about. Glad it only cost 1.00 at walmart... So i voted 1 place
I started off a slut and was drowning in stamps, and I honestly thought that sticking to just one or two companies would "limit" my creativity. But what I learned is that I overestimated my "creative" potential! I was drowing in stamps that didn't coordinate, that I couldn't do anything with 'cause really I'm soooo creatively challenged.
So a few years ago, I decided to purge stamps and only keep/buy SU! and Hero Arts. Both companies have large catties for me to study and learn from, since I clearly didn't know what I was doing just buying, buying, buying.
It worked. I started gettting a better feel for coordinating things, found my real style, and was much happier. Now, I've added PaperTrey as well because Nichole is a genius. There are sooo many wonderful stamp companies out there that I think for some of us these sorts of artificial limits help us make sense of it.
Besides, there's only so much money in my stamping budget!
I am a SU girl. I have one stamp from a craft store that I bought because it was beautiful and I plan to use it on Christmas cards one of these years. Other than that everything I have is SU. My BF is my demo and she is the one who got me into stamping.
I guess I'm no prude...at least in stamping! LOL I love stamps and if you like something, it is good quality and you can afford it, why would it make a difference who makes it?
And LOL I just love the pic of Cammie running through those doors! Thanks for the grin Gina!
Ok....no problem...I am looking pretty cute in that image (besides the fact that my boobs are flying everywhere!!!!) Haha!
Think of it as a yellow polka dot bikini..with only one dot on each side. Yikes! I didn't even notice that part. LOL!
Cammie's my friend, she knows I'm teasing...so it's okay....right?

i put 2-5 companies but the vast, vast majority of my stamps are from SU! -- i am a little bit of a snob when it comes to that i am known to buy the occasional michaels $1 stamp and have visited my LSS where i have found some, too. i am also stalking some websites that i have recently found like ...www.eatcakegraphics.com ... i can't see me straying too far from SU! though!
I was a 'stamp slut' but since becoming successful both creatively and in business I have really decided that it is important for me to focus my time and budget on just one company. I have even decided to let my multitude of stamps go. I am getting ready to sell of almost everything that is not TAC. HOWEVER, that being said, I am still a studio g $1 stamp slut, or maybe I am just a junkie! I don't know. I just love those things, a cheep high I guess!
LOL.

(Cammie, running from stamp company to stamp company! LOL!)
Sorry, Cam, I had to do it! LOL!
Now that is funny! Not laughing at you Cammie, I am laughing with you! LOL.
Stamp on girl! You have talent. I don't know about those boobs though!

I voted "just one" but that's not Entirely true. I just got into stamping (I'm a scrapbooker) and so have been buying SU! However, I had some others from "before" and I actually just ordered some Bella's. So, while I have, thus far, stuck with one company, I'm finally feeling more sure of myself and branching out!!
If you would have asked me the same question 1 year ago I would have said only Stampin' Up! exclusively. I finally branched out and flipped out, too! What have I been missing all those years??? I have to admit that quality is definitely at the top of my list but there are many stamp companies that fall into that category. I am really enjoying my Papertrey Ink stamps. I have not bought a Stampin' Up! stamp set in about a year. I have bought a lot of other things from SU so don't worry!
The money that flies out of my wallet everytime it gets near a stamp store isn't too choosey about what I buy  The same goes for my credit card when I am buying online - both are equal opportunity shoppers.
