I have signed up for paypal personal and entered a credit card as part of the sign up. Now I need to bay for some ebay stuff and I cna't seem to do it right.
If I click all the links to pay by paypal, it asks me to add a pay source. If I add the same credit card it will not let me complete the transaction and says I already have that one entered. I want to USE that card for the purchase! How come I can't. I know you all can halp me since I can't seem to find any help at paypal. Thanks

How long ago did you sign up for Paypal?
If not that long ago you will have to wait till you have money deposited into your account and you varifie that this is your account.
Are you trying to sell something or buy something?
I have had this happen to me...and it was because I didn't go in after I got a new credit card issued (same card and #s, just different exp. date) and change the expriation date. Once I did that...it worked again.
when i signed up several years ago, I had to wait a few days for my credit card and checking account info. to be "verified" before I could actually start using their service. This could still be true now, but I am not sure. What link are you clicking on to pay thru paypal - is it in your email or is it actually on the ebay page? Paypal takes FOREVER to respond to your email questions also.
I tried bot hthe link on ebay and in my e-mail. The message from paypal says"
"This credit card is already entered into you paypal account" Duh. I want to USE that card to pay for the items! It won't let me.

i have had a paypal account for the last seven years, but i am definitely stumped on this one. I think you will have to wait for a response from paypal. sorry i couldn't help more.

Go into your profile and see what exp. date is listed on that credit card...if it is past that date...you will not see your credit card as an option for payment.
