What green works best for flower stems?

I have Mellow Moss but I want a brighter one as well. Garden Green?

I guess it depends on what season you want. I'd say gable green or green galore for spring, glorious green for summer and garden green for summer/fall.

HTH! :)

I almost always use garden green when it comes to stems. If you're going with a lighter look then maybe mellow moss. And for a brighter look glorious green. Good Luck! I'm sure your card will turn out great.

I use garden green also, but then I fill in the leaves with mellow moss for a softer look. That works well for spring....I used it today as a matter of fact.
I guess it depends on if you want your leaves & stems to look "real" or "bright" or " colorful"....I think we are no help to you at all are we????

My go to color for stems has always been Old Olive - I also have use Garden green when I was at a friends - that is next on my list to buy!!!

As everyone mentioned - depends on the "mood" of the card.

I bought Glorious Green just for flowers but found I didn't like it much. Then got the Garden Green & love it. For more muted or antiqued looking cards I use Old Olive.

Garden Green and Mellow Moss get my vote too!

The chalk Ink green (olive pastel?) also makes good stems in case you aren't confused enough. If you go look in your yard there is a huge variation in real flower stems and leaf colors as well, so use whatever pad jumps in your hand first.

green ink

I love old olive the best, actually when I first started buying inks, I got all the greens right off, they are SO important.
Definitely old olive has my vote, I like it with everything!

Garden Green and Old Olive seem to me to be the most NATURAL colors for real-looking flowers. Love them both!
