Give Praise to a Stranger's Card Day
I hereby nominate anytime on Mondays as: Give Praise to a Stranger's Card Day. (if I may be so bold)
Each card I make is filled with a bit of me-for-you-love.
My Occupational Therapist (OT) said Functional Therapy (doing things for real) was way better than Physiotherapy.
I said that puting pins in and out of trays, to get my fingers working was boring, whereas steadying my hand to put a gem or brad on a card was not! She said that those things were FAR better because it used all your muscles and nerves naturally thus keeping function for longer! Ta-da! one briliant reason for cardmaking, whoop whoop!
I think we should all hand out more praise to those whose cards are making a good effort, though maybe not mind blowingly brilliant, as it may be the very best they can do; and its disheartening to never recieve a comment of praise. I HEREBY NOMINATE MONDAYS AS GIVE PRAISE TO A STRANGER's CARD DAY, because that is the day, folk commit suicide on the most, break up on the most, go back to work on, go back to school on and generally feel low on....lets cheer them all up!
