I would love to see a Valentine's phrase set. Not to mushy but just some nice phrases. I second the single color brads and refill's for the hodgepodge hardware. That's all I can think of for now.

inks in al our birthstone colors. And embossing powders. I already passed this on to SU. The liked the idea and passed it on to the right people who decide if it will be a go or no go. So I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I love all of the ideas here. Now I really can't wait for the new catty...I would love to see...
- HH sold separately
- Hockey stamp set (this would be so popular in Canada)
- More sets for watercoloring
- A nicer soft pink
- Scalloped punches
- Specialty demo purchasing (DS paper in individual patterns)
- A nice deep/rich red
- Brads to match the HH
- More Simply Scrappin' Kits (love At Home)
- More colors of gingham ribbon
- Liquid applique
- More embossing templates (like full card front designs)
- More chipboard letters/accents
- Lower prices...which means more stamps!

I vote for unmounted sets too! Would love to buy without wood blocks. Just think of how much all of us could help the problem with global warming if we wouldn't cut down so many trees for our stamps?

Maybe we should ask about having bamboo blocks! It's a fast growing, renewable resource that is super tough and water resistant.

I wouldn't mind if they gave people the option of buying UM as long as they let the rest of us continue to order the wood. I can't stand stamping without nice cushy foam and a comfortable wood block.

I LOVE the new color family idea. I would also like to see a
Gymnastics set
sibling set
Fairy set
not so many flowers
more snowmen
karate set
another ballet set
more scrapbook samples
a food set for 6x6 recipe swaps
A School set for teachers and scrapbooks.
I also would like to keep the in colors since I already bought most of them.
A winter set sort of like the summer one maybe with sleds a snowman ice skates etc. might be fun for the winter.

i would love to see more "men" stamps, love the ideas of ink colors!!!!
i would like religious like stamps, something that would go with baptism, communions, etc.
invitation stamp set... i know they use to have one. i just want a set that has all the info needed, no other design, something simple.
scallop punches
brads/eyelets you can buy seperately..... love that idea!!!
like the stamps geared for adults something like girls night out
would like a magazine too.
love the idea of pick and choosing pharses, love the fonts but never use half of them in the big sets.
possibly craft sets...something that would help with techniques maybe...chalk sets, with daubers, heat gun with a ep set. it would really help those just getting started.

The number one wish is a set to compliment Wild about You with a zebra, monkey, hippo, etc in it. I want the animals to match the Wild about You ones so they can be used together. Maybe with an additional sentiment like "It's a Zoo out there" or something like that.

I want a paisley set that has a punch with paisley cut-outs to match! Also whatever the "in-colors" are, I hope they have markers, even if you can only buy them in a set of 6 I would. Charcoal and Lime would be great. I think we can count on Lime as I hear it will be big this year. I am hoping we will get more paper sets with the 2 catalogs now.

Here's what I DON't want to see in the new catalogs - Enough of the patterned paper that works off browns. I'm tired of close to cocoa and chocolate chip (well the paper anyway). Too many of those sets have brown in them. Niki

I would love to see a nice Tea set......Tractor set that is more like John Deere, more hedge hogs, and less flowers.
In colors of paper and ink I would like to see lighter pink
and lighter blues too!

WOW,...have asked so many of these same questions myself, love the "fresh Fruit" suggestion". A total YES on the Charcole Gray, never understood why that was not included. Larger tag,YES,YES,YES. I do have a tag punch I have had for years and use that to layer but a match is more in my eye.
As far as stamps I love the antique and realistic style, would love to see another world travel set,...have waited years for a real soccer set, think the set is cute,...but my boys are getting too old for"cute". Yes I did buy it anyway.

More Military
I would like to see Navy ships and military words. Also more Hawaiian words. I love the Do the Hula set.
I'd like to see more punches. The Spring stamp set has a big flower that is a pain to cut out. A punch that would take card of that would be awesome. I have arthritis and it's hard to cut as many flowers as I would like.
More for Fathers too....

Here's my "wishlist"
1-All the demo purchasing ideas mentioned would be so great!
2-I would love ribbon....lots and lots of ribbon!!
3-Crop-a-dile, Cuttlebug-type machine & Cricut-type machine (then we could demo the WONDERFUL projects we see here!)
4-Lots and lots of chipboard in packages all by themselves instead of just a few pieces of several things. (did that make sense?) OR maybe sheets of chipboard if they would bring in the previous items I mentioned
5-Lots of new designer papers
6-Scalloped punches in lots of sizes for layering
7-Lots of punches...I'm not picky, I just love punches
8-Tins and other things for altering
9-Lots and lots of new RUBBER!!!

I would love to see a photo holder tab punch so that I can have these cute little tabs in any color at any time that I want, a non-demo magazine, in color markers, and stamp buffet (too often I see 1-2 stamps in a large set that I would love to have but the cost of the whole set makes it prohibitive).

As for accessories and embellishments, I would LOVE to be able to buy the eyelets and brads separately in packs of 100 in each color. More stitched ribbons in a variety of color. Someone mentioned dotted organdy ribbon and I love that idea! I'd also like to be able to buy the hardware separately, too.
As far as stamp sets- I'd love to have at least one other Easter choice (there's only ONE in the current catalog!) Something more cutesy with Easter Bunnies and the like that could be used for kids.
I'd also like to see a Sympathy Set geared more for children. We've had several children who have lost a parent of sibling and they can't understand why THEY don't get Sympathy Cards. There's nothing right now that would be appropriate.
I'd love a teacher/education set that could be used to make cards/name frames, etc. for teachers...something similar to It's Academic.
A fancier large-size alphabet (the size of Headline Alphabet) would be nice with both upper and lower case letters.
I'd LOVE to see some of the In-Color colors stay- especially Cool Carribean and Cranberry Crisp (get rid of Bravo Burgundy!)! I've always thought a fruity family would be nice...especially a pretty "grapey" purple and a watermelon color...
Pretty designer papers like they've been having in the minis would be nice...

i would love to see more humerous birthday stamp sets. i absolutly love all the ones in the present catalog, but i find more times than a few i have the need for a humerous b-day card. i agree it needs to be grown up humor, nothing x-rated, just for adults. maybe a maxine set. the colors mentioned sound wonderful! but i have to say, i'm pretty happy with things as is, if there are no changes i'm a happy stamper!

WELL SAID JOANN!
totally agree!
i am would looooove to have such a stamping magazine. just were they show you some examples and instructions.
i already was dissapointed with the last catalogue... they should really publish some cards of advanced stampers.
Quote: Originally Posted by Joan B More than anything, I would like better samples. This girl needs inspiration!!
Secondly, I would love to have polka dot organdy ribbon!! it is a must have and would love to be able to get it through SU.
Finally, I would love love love for SU to put out a magazine for non demos. |

I would like to see more options of purchasing the sentiments separate from the coordinating sets. It seems like that over the years they come out with a set that is close enough to one I already have, that I cannot justify buying another one. Yet the sentiments are darling and I would love to be able to just buy the words. For example, "Snappy Birthday" and the darling crab. However, I already have Fishy Friends so I can't justify buying another crab set just for the words.
Ha, listen to myself . . . this comes from someone with 20 floral sets. He, he, he . . . Now that I think about it, I could think of a way to justify just about any stamp purchase.

I agree with most of the ideas here. I especially like having the ala carte for hodepodge, brads and eyelets. I'd love to have the eyelets, buttons and brads available in all the different colors too.
More ribbon, especially the stitched ribbon, and being able to buy a spool instead of the small amount of assorted ribbons on the card.
I'd like to keep the in colors as well! (With markers to match).
More patterned paper, and be able to buy them ala carte as well.
I'd like the option to buy unmounted stamps on ez cling (cheaper and easier to store), or the traditional wood.
I'd also like to see more accessories, like an eyelet setter like the cropodile, better and cheaper adhesive, primas, embossing folders, more chipboard, die cut machine (manual or electronic or both!), etc.
Oooh, and not only bigger punches, but more punches that go with stamps.
As for stamps, I agree on a nice tea set, more manly stamps (I like the John Deere idea!), more stamps related to teens and their activities, military, patriotic, and birthday designs.

What I would like
So many good ideas here! I would like to see more ribbon, more kits, a real purple color, and more girl sets that aren't related to looks and grooming. I think there are quite a few good boy sets, but the girl ones don't appeal to me. I wish there had been a girl pirate, girl cowboy, more sets for girls that are action/sports/adventure. For my scrapbooking I don't think there are enough good girl sets.
And I would LOVE an idea magazine as would many of my customers!

I didn't read all of the posts so don't know if this has been mentioned, but for those of you wanting chalk ink pads (especially charcoal gray), ColorBox has a gorgous Charcoal Gray chalk ink pad. And ColorBox is owned by Stampin' Up now. Best of both worlds.

Better cat and dog stamps; not cutesy/cartoonish, but not totally detailed & formal, either. Also, how about a larger stamp scrubber pad for the background stamps?

•Humorous stamps for males

I would like to see in the catalog a list of all the stamp sets with a poll - like, neutral, dislike - that we could send in to SU. Surely there would be a way to tabulate what people really like and don't like.
