It looks great dry embossed!

Just stamp on it as you would other neutral colors. I personally have never used it but have recieved swaps that consisted of this paper.

:D I have it too but have not used it....yet. It sure is pretty....love the shimmery.

I love it!! I use it alot on Christmas cards or on very special cards. The envolopes are VERY VERY nice also.

I've used it for wedding cards. It's very pretty, but the shimmer is subtle. It has to be in the right light.

It is MUUUUCH better for watercoloring (esp. using the aquapainter) because it is thicker and does not warp as much... many demos recommend not using the ultrasmooth CS, but instead confetti CS or the shimmery white for watercoloring, because they stand up to the use of the water/blender pen better.

I do my winter cards--torn snow hills with the lovely paper.

I used it for my Christmas cards and, like Annette, use it to make snow hills/mountains.

Stamp on it with the waterproof outliner inks then watercolor on it. I tried my twinkling H2Os on it. Verrrry pretty.

I *believe* it was shimmering white cs that you could use your colored pencils to scribble on, then using a brush/aquapen could blend the colors together b/c is stands on top of the paper.

Pair it with vellum and black CS for the most elegant engagement/wedding cards.

Must concur: Love it for watercoloring.

And, if you don't have any Pearl Ex (to make Pearl Ex Mist), it's one step you can by-pass to have an overall shimmery effect to your focal image.

It's pretty gorgeous paper to stamp on. I tend to use it sparingly and in ways that can showcase it's shimmery effect, so I don't "layer" with it. It's always the focal image or an accent, punched out, etc.

The shimmer white seems to be the best cardstock for Expressionistic Watercolor (www.patstamps.com 12/04 issue).

This technique has been mentioned quite a bit and there are many samples here on SCS. Spritz your Shimmer CS with water, ink up your stamp, stamp on spritzed CS - you will see you colors vein - repeat and stamp randomly if desired. Heat you CS to dry, heating both sides to uncurl CS, reink your stamp and stamp over the 1st image.
