I've made these two designs using the rabbit/bunny image from Comotion Rubber Stamps.
The one with the green along the BOTTOM I know I'm still planning on adding mini brads at the end of the word punch strips that say "Happy" "Easter" (Stampendous). Not sure what color I should do though. Was originally planning on white...but since the words are stamped in black I'm wondering if I should use black mini brads instead. Any thoughts?
The other one needs something to the right of the picture on the strip. Maybe a ribbon, or 3 mini brads or eyelets or ???
And then...which do you think has more potential for a "seller". I need to keep costs down (so something to keep in mind when making suggestions) and I also want to keep them relatively "flat" (so the buyers don't have to pay extra postage when they mail them).
I think white mini brads would be so cute, I'm just worried that black would look too harsh on such a springy/bright card. I really like the second one, the magic mesh softens the green nicely.
Thanks for the input so far. I tried white mini brads (on the word punch) and they got lost...so I tried black and think I like them better..they are more noticable and make the middle area pop. Haven't found anything I like on the other card yet. So still looking for input.
Also, dh said he doesn't really like EITHER card. Want your input...do you think other females would want to buy either card? (I know males and females think differently and I know females would be the ones most likely to be making a purchase.)
Oh, I thought you were wanting to put the mini brads on the pink word window punchouts in the first picture (in that case, I picked the white). What about matting the word window punchout in the second picture over another color to make it stand out more? maybe over a darker pink color. It seems to get lost all by itself. I guess I would have to see it with the black brads though, to see how that worked for it!
Don't listen to DH though, I like that bunny, and the layouts are good, just try tweaking something a little, and see if you like it more.
