What is this die for?
Does anyone know what this die is? I have three, the tops are all a bit different, they must have been a set. The bottom edge has no blade , so I guess to cut out on a fold? I have no idea why I bought these. I might use them if I could remember what for!

Is it a set of banners that could be cut to any length and used on a card front?
Like Julie did on this card: TCC123 Give Thanks by Julie Gearinger - at Splitcoaststampers |
It's from the Papertrey Ink set called "Half & Half"
Papertrey Ink - Half & Half Die Collection (set of 3): Papertrey Ink Clear Stamps Dies Paper Ink Kits Ribbon |
thanks!
Oh I have spent way too much time trying to figure this out. Thanks so much. Now do you know why I bought them?;)

hahaha, I wish I had that power for myself!!!

From the description of the coordinating stamp set:
This brand-new EXCITING, innovative Half & Half product line is just the sort of thing you have come to expect from Papertrey Ink! You may have found yourself often wanting a decorative "strip" on your projects while stamping...something that would look similar to one of our Mat Stacks cut in half...but need more length! This is how the Half & Half concept was born, essentially "half" a shape and "half" a strip! |
If
If I get thru this next week, i will make something and share!

Looks like they would make nice gift tags too..........just punch a whole in the decorative end and you can make the tag as long or short as you want.
|
If I had it I would use it for tags or bookmarks.
|
A friend had something similar and she put magnets on the open ends to make a bookmark (folded side over the top of the pages). It was cute!
|
looks like it would make a fabulous bookmark to me.
|
love this set of dies!! thanks for sharing and what wonderful ideas. I like making bookmarks for my friends and this is just perfect!!
|
What are the dimensions?
Could these be to make ‘triptych scenes’ such as a Nativity?

This is what I was thinking. Cut it on the fold and you could slip it over the page you're marking. Great minds think alike! |
