What did you snag on Black Friday?

I bought a Cameo on a great sale a few days before Black Friday. It will be here Monday
I got the cover, a couple of extra blades and a scraper at 40% from the Silhouette store.
I also 20 cut files at 1/2 off from the Silhouette on-line store.
:) :)

PMR 11-23-2012 03:46 PM

nothing big, but lots of craft stuff

stampwithjoanne 11-23-2012 03:51 PM

Lot's of small craft items at JoAnn's. All on sale. Plus the extra 25 percent of the whole total order!

craftykarla 11-23-2012 03:53 PM

:pI also got a cameo, ordered on Wednesday. Hit the Silhouette Store for extra blade, mat and scraper also. I got a wish list of cut files just haven't purchased, yet.

Barbara Jay 11-23-2012 04:09 PM

I knew my Cameo would not be here for Black Friday and wanted to get some 1/2 off cut files . I contacted Silhouette America and ask how to do that because you need their software to download the files.

The Customer service rep got right back to me and said I could download the software before I got the machine so I could buy cut files. The download does not include the free cut files that comes with the Cameo disk so I will also need to load the disk when it comes and register the machine . But I was able to buy the cut files I wanted. I can't try them until the machine comes but I have them to admire :)
Here is the link she gave me to use.

I only shopped online, but I got

a Cricut Expression (refurb) for $99 ( that was actually last sunday)
today I got 2 Gypsy cords
some crafting tools
2 cricut cartridges
a couple of audio books from Audible
and 3 new stamp sets (whole plates)

Makalah 11-23-2012 06:25 PM

I got 2 Jetmax cubes at Micheal's. They weren't the ones I wanted, but wanted to get the sale price and exchange later. 50% off plus 30% off on top of that last night. I got two cubes (reg $45), one white pop up cloth cube, 3 packs of 12x12 hanging file folders for paper, and 2 packs of candles for $47.

I didn't make it to any craft stores today (although went to most other stores) but did a little pre-Black Friday Stampin' Up shopping on sale items. :)

ujxm048 11-23-2012 06:33 PM

I ordered some stamps/dies from MFT. Also plan on going to M's tomorrow and getting some Washi tape and maybe some embelishments seeing it is on sale and also want to get some ornaments that will be 60% off and then my 25% coupon on top of that. That was it for me, hubby was the one that made out like a bandit this year.

gregzgurl 11-23-2012 06:35 PM

I don't venture out to the sales, but I did place an order at The Cat's Pajamas to take advantage of free shipping (only 3 items, but I'm pretty stoked about them, lol). I also bought a Christmas cardinal set from Sweet 'n Sassy stamps for 30% off. Yeah, that's it...

basketballmom 11-23-2012 07:26 PM

iPad.
Christmas present for dh and me from my parents. They told us to go buy it while it was on sale.
Now ... the wait for it to be delivered.
As my 21yo son said "Mom, you've just jumped decades in technology and caught up with me!"
Yeah ... love that kid.

ceramicat1 11-23-2012 07:59 PM

Kitchen aid stand mixer. I kept looking at the ad and the price was really good. I went this morning to see if they still had any, and now one is mine!:)

Craft Storage from Michaels, the sale price plus the additional 25% really helped. We went to Michaels Thurs night. I went to ACMoore and Joanns today.

Congratulations! You will wonder why you waited so long to buy one. I would never make the 18 dozen Christmas cookies or 20 nut breads I make every year without my Kitchen Aid. Try to get a second bowl. Then you can start a second batch of cookies while the first batch is baking .

MegsLeigh 11-23-2012 10:03 PM

I decided not to brave the midnight sales because of work. It was bad enough going to the grocery store, and a guy in this huge truck decided he was tired of waiting at the stop sign and decided to run it. The direction I was driving in has the right-of-way (no stop signs), and he came close to bashing in my driver's side door. Then he gives me this glare like I was in the wrong even though he was the one who ran the stop sign!

But, Amazon was very good to me. They price-matched Best Buy's sales. My husband and I decided to grab a 40-inch LED 3D TV, which is our Christmas gift to each other. We had eyed a 51-inch plasma, but that was way too big for our living room. I also picked up some games for him and Brave on Blu-ray for me.

I didn't get much craft-wise, because I'm waiting for December to do another SU order. I did pick up the stuff to make my own stamp cleaner and used my 40% coupon at Michaels to get one of those little travel carriers for supplies. I also got some of the cheaper scrapbook paper to make some prototypes with before I make the final product with good paper.

QueenOfInkland 11-24-2012 04:06 AM

Bought online (I do NOT do Black Friday in person LOL): Bissell 2-in-1 hard floor steamer. I have been waiting for this to go on sale and it did and I got a really good deal. Can't wait to steam away using the Eucalyptus water....

Joan B 11-24-2012 04:22 AM

ticket to a movie -- Flight -- $6 matinee.

Barbara, you will love your Cameo!

NancyK. 11-24-2012 04:25 AM

Where did you get the great deal on the cameo? It's on my wish list!!

I shopped at Impression Obsession and got a bunch of stamps 25% off.

I was going to say the same thing! Bought my mixer about a year or two ago, and don't know how I survived twenty years of domestic bliss without it!

Took my boys to see Wreck It Ralph. After tickets, popcorn, and drinks, I spent considerably more than Joan. ;)

I have a second bowl and just invested in a mixer blade that scrapes the side....this mixer was my mom's.....it's 26 years old....

I have my mom's too...probably 30 years old. Hoping it gets through the baking season this year. It's getting tired but don't have the heart to replace it.

Barbara, you will love your Cameo!

I am excited to learn to use the Cameo! I am a hands on person so I never thought I would want digi stamps or an electronic cutter.
However the storage and cost of most stamps and dies are pushing me in a different direction.

Cameo score

I agree with Barbara Jay, never thought I would want an electronic cutter. I ordered mine following a previous thread from Overstock.com for $229 for a "mega-bundle". Been watching all the sites for a few months this was the lowest price (so far). Have already downloaded the software and used their online sale to download some images. Now I'm already beginning to play with the software and watching YouTube videos.

steph108 11-24-2012 10:56 AM

I ended up getting lots of craft stuff with all the online sales. Scored some great OA stuff on myscrapsandmore for 55% off! They have their whole store 55% off! And got some great deals on yourscrapbooksupply too:) oh I also went to bath and body works and got some great smelling handsoaps and body wash for good prices with all the coupons they had! Wasn't crazy in there either.went inside Jcpenney and got a few things but left pretty quickly since there were so many people in there.

Barbara Jay 11-24-2012 12:36 PM

Overstock has the Cameo for $229 for a mega bundle (free shipping) and you get a $25 gift card to spend at Silhouette

airbornewife 11-24-2012 01:13 PM

I got 4 ATG's for the price of 1. AC Moore had them on sale for $14.88. I took the ad to Michael's and they price matched and then had the bonus 30% off coupon.. I got all four with tax for $44 and change.

At JoAnn's.. I got a whole bunch of Fiskars punches, scissors and every package of Titanium cutting blades they had. My total was $40 and change. The lady said my savings was $93.

**Barbara Jay.. thank you for posting that link. I am thinking about buying a Cameo.

~ Pam

airbornewife 11-24-2012 02:48 PM

Thanks so much for posting the link to the Cameo that is on sale. I went to their site after seeing this and ordered one. I have two Circut Expressions that I do not use hardly at all.. so I am excited about this because read and see all the beautiful things people make with it. thanks again ~ Pam

**ps. for those who just got a Kitchenaid.. you are going to "LOVE" it.. I bought my stand mixer, food processor and hand mixer nearly 20 years ago and they all work just as great as they did the day I got them. I have four bowls for my stand mixer so that when I am making big batches of cookies, I don't have to clean up after each batch.

Didn't do any Black Friday shopping this year. Probably the first year in quite a while.

We did stop at Cabelas on the way home from PA so my son could buy a vest. And while we were there, I bought some fudge. :D
That's about it for me.

dottiejdavis 11-24-2012 03:41 PM

I bought a bunch of dies and stamps at Heartfelt Creations 15% off BlackFriday deal. Also over the amount needed for free shipping! Am so excited as their stuff is awesome. Have to add here that I have had a Kitchen Aid mixer using it constantly in my cake decorating business of 18 years. This awesome piece of yankee ingenuity has lasted no less than 40 years. It has been repaired once. It has made cranberries to hamburg to enough frosting to cover planet earth. It has mixed enough cookie dough and cake batter to fill a UHaul. It is worth any investment needed to put this baby proudly on your kitchen counter. The colors out are beautiful when I only had beige and white to choose from.

ceramicat1 11-24-2012 04:29 PM

Thanks for all the information concerning the Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer. I've started looking at accessories online.:D

I love my Cameo. I have several 12x12 mats so I can load the paper and cut multiples at one go. I clean off one mat while another cuts.

Hallupino 11-24-2012 05:29 PM

I picked up a good portion of my wish list at Impression Obsession, plus a few extra goodies I didn't know I needed till I saw them... Sooo glad I caught the discount; I've been waiting for those cover-a-card stamps to go on sale forever!!! And the real cincher was that orders over $30 get free shipping- even here to Canada! Now that's a rarity.

kaufeestamper 11-24-2012 07:34 PM

I finally got a printer, much needed. Office Max online on Thanksgiving, a Brother All in One for $50.

Also got a sleeve for my new Chromebook. And a new mouse for it, too.

Love my Kitchen Aid! Wish I had a Vitamix blender now. :)

On my Christmas list is a canvas collapsible wagon for hauling stamp supplies to crops. :)

NancyK. 11-25-2012 05:00 AM

I will add myself to the Kitchen Aid Mixer fan club!! I've had mine for about 20 years and love it. It is the one kitchen appliance everyone should have - and well worth the money. This thing is heavy and will last a lifetime. I used to make batches and batches of cookies every holiday season and did much of the mixing by hand. Once I got the Kitchen Aid mixer I was in heaven. And get an extra bowl - you will not regret it!

xayide2 11-25-2012 05:45 AM

I bought a Dyson DC39 canister vacuum for $199 online, I had gift cards.

Michael's was the last stop to see if I could get some Spellbinders. That store is a pain in keeping track of their inventory, but they actually had all 4 that I wanted. And their coupons didn't exclude the dies on sale.

We love our Dyson so much! It's done wonders for the carpet, especially with three cats. I am constantly amazed by how much fur and dirt the vacuum gets up. Even better, my husband is fascinated by the Dyson, so he always volunteers to do the vacuuming!

PedalPower 11-25-2012 09:09 AM

I bought some stamps from SP&Company to give as gifts, but that's all I picked up. I just wasn't in the shopping mood this year!

airbornewife 11-26-2012 06:06 AM

We have a Vitamix and absolutely love it... add us to the list of those who love Dyson's.. we have two, one for upstairs and one for downstairs.

ONe of my best scores - Michael's. I bought the Recollections plastic rolling cart. There were 2 differnt ones - I got the one where the bins are 14x15 in. It is awesome.

reg 69.99 it was on sale for $28 AND I had a 30% off all purchases coupon. I wish I had gotten 2 of them. :)

I also bought 1 cricut cart, a nice fiskers trimmer, some crayloa items. All on sale and I used my coupon on it all, but the cricut cart. Not bad at all!

DH found nothing at Cabela's. At JCP I bought a new pair of boots, and then DH found a pair he liked for me, and got those for my Christmas. At Staples, my new crafting chair was on sale for $49 - reg. $150. Dh also bought that for my Christmas.

DH wants a TV, so we are still looking. The one we want is all sold out today on line. I am still looking.

craftykarla 11-26-2012 10:15 AM

I was just going to post the same thing about how great this mixer is and the extra bowl is so great. My mother brought it for me for a birthday present 8 years ago. Ohh the splash guard comes in handy when you have little helpers in the kitchen.

A whole bunch of Impression Obsession cover-a-card stamps. There were so many that I wanted so at 25% off and free shipping it was worth it to clear out my wishlist.

The new distress stains from Ellen Hutson at 20% off and a bunch of Christmas stamps from Impress Rubber Stamps at 15% off.
