Default What a Deal I Got ! ! !

A local scrapbook store has closed it's doors - closed last week after great sales, then tonight they opened for one last hurrah.

For $10 they provided a huge ziplock bag, and you had an HOUR ( ! ) to
put everything you could into it. They still had tons of ribbon, fun metal washer charms with words on them, tons and tons of paper and stickers, sheet dividers for different sized stickers, vellum, distressing ink, some punches, lazer cuts, page kits, some Daisy D kits, etc.

I brought home my loot and just had to itemize it to see what I got, as I thought I really had a haul.

Based on paper at $.60 each mostly, which was conservative since some of the exact same paper I bought just this past weekend at another scrap store for $.75 a piece, plus all my other goodies added up to..........
..................
...................can ya even take a wild guess?..........

..............................
About $230 ! ! ! ! ! !

Could NOT believe it. It would have been an incredible deal at half the amount, quarter the amount, heck - obviously only 10th of the amount.
It was so fun, and I can't wait to use alot of it. I even packed in quite a few fun papers and stickers that my granddaughters can use to sit and scrap with grandma.

So............sad as I am to see them leave, they sure went out with a bang. And I'm amazed that she was so generous in this last offering.

Looks like for the first time in my life I'm wishing that I lived in Lansing, MI. Fabulous for you, though!

Good for YOU!!!

We recently had a scrapbook store that went out of business and I thought I got a good deal on her last day she has 80% off. I had already bought a basket for friend to bput her baby shower gift in. I filled it to the tippy top with baby scrapbook and embellishments. I spent a total of $11. I thought I got a good deal but I think yours is even better! Wish I could have gotten to do that too!
