Uploading my photo to profile

Help.....everytime I try to upload my photo to my profile, I get an error message. Does anyone know why this is happening? Please help!!!:twisted:

Try posting in the Site Suggestions and Questions forum -- that's where the tech gurus will see it!

Usually when there's an error accepting uploaded avatar and profile pics, it's because you neglected to resize it first with your photo editing software. Nothing bigger than 640 pixels wide or 480 pixels high, or in the case of avatars 80x80 pixels and 12 KB.

I kept getting this error message too even after resizing photos and getting my son to help ( who knows everything about computers - almost as he is 16). Then rather than upload my picture to photo I uploaded it to avator - I think I still got an error message, but I left it on and then when I posted something my photo was there. This may be of no help to you, but all I am saying is that I worked on this forever then when I looked it was just there. LOL
