Confetti white
Other:Scalloped Oval punches
Giga rectangle punch
Silver embossing

well, my cards are basically this one except the 'With Sympathy" is being replaced with the 'Noel' stmp from Many Merry Messages, and instead of lavander Lace ink, I'm using Ballet Blue. Oh, and I'm using actual Dazzling Diamonds glitter, since the stickles kind of got a funny halo around them when they dried on the glossy CS... When I make them (yes I know it's the 15th ) I'll post a pic!

For the vast majority of my cards I used a white card base (watercolor paper) with silver and red ink. I've scanned them and included them in my gallery (see my sig below for a link) if you're interested in taking a peek. Very simple, no layering. I used French Flair, Many Merry Messages, and Snowflakes.

With 2 little kids I wanted to keep my cards simple so I would get them done! They are Blue with red and green I used an eyelet and the stamps I used were from Snow Angels and Made From Scratch and I did some sawing as I think thats a fun touch that doesnt take too much time

I stuck with the basic red and green this year. I just couldn't resist the stamps ho to the third power. So nerdy and appropriate for my family!

I shamelessly cased both of my Christmas cards this year.
I cased Maria Flores beautiful Winter in the Woods card and used the Happy Holidays sentiment from Warmest Regards hostess set in Night of Navy. Also didn't notch the corners. Other than that, you can't mess with perfection. Maria's colors were Night of Navy, Brushed Silver, and Glossy Cardstock
The other card was the clean and elegant card by Leanne (artisticthrustamps) using the Peaceful Wishes set. The only change I made there was to stamp the sentiment in Real Red rather than Always Artichoke. Leanne's original colors were Whisper White and Always Artichoke.
Thank you to both of you talented women. I truly enjoyed making both cards.

Mine are Always Artichoke, Rose Red, and Regal Rose. I did artichoke for the base, and stamped it with the paisley bg in artichoke ink. Then, stamped truck from Loads of Love, with tree on back, and watercolored it in and cut it out. Mounted truck cut-out on Rose Red, then on Regal Rose, with each layer at a little angle. The saying from the Loads of Love set was stamped on a piece of white cs and put inside. Then I put a piece of ribbon (non-SU) that matched the artichoke along the bottom front of the card with a snowflake brad in it. I was wanting slightly different colors from the usual red and green and this came out very cute. I took a pic, but I've got to hunt down my camera cord to load it to the computer later.

I used Night of Navy, Summer Sun and Whisper White cardstock with Night of Navy, Craft White ink and I sponged Summer Sun, Creamy Caramel and Night of Navy on the sky, the ground and the chicks. And I added a yellow Star Eyelet in the sky.

I'd tell ya mine, but I made them all different... different stamps and different colors. I can't stand to stamp more than a few cards that are the same.

I used whisper white and night of navy on vellum. I used Lovely a a Tree on the vellum, masked out a moon, did a lot of sponging, then flipped over the vellum and did the same thing on the other side to make a reflection. It was very much like this card in the gallery, for which I am extremely grateful for the idea. I used a small "peace" on the top right-hand corner.

I used Certainly Celery and Real Red with a little bit of gold thrown in. Here is a link to my card:
Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Of course my scanner isn't the best - the berry leaves are much more sparkly in person and the gold stands out more too.

I did Night of Navy with confetti white on half and eggplant with ( I can't remember which light purple!) on the other half. Real simple, with a holographic crayola paper behind it for the stars and used the slip punch inside to tuck the kids photos. I may add some silver cord ...not sure.

I did lots of different designs this year......they're all in my gallery for the Christmas Card Challenge. I really went all over the board:
Hedgehogs with Turquoise/Celery/Apricot
More hedgies with Plums and Eggplant
I also have poinsettia pocket cards in the traditional red and green (my faves, I think, and they're 6x6)
I have blue ones, artichoke/burgundy.
My 2nd favorite, or maybe 1st, no 2nd, no.....is one with 3 tags on the front, each with a J, O, or Y. I used little pieces on this one and I really like it. Too bad I did them in April or so and didn't have the small tag punch. I had to crack out the perfect layers.

Mine were almost amethyst, vintage violet and mellow moss. I used the Solemn Stillness set, the slit punch and small brads.
Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I'm a little unhappy with how the layering came out b/c of the slit ( I couldn't figure out how to make it uniform, with still having room to punch ), but I guess they'll do.

Mine are true thyme, cranberry crisp, and white, using the stitched ribbon. Thank goodness the ribbon is still available, because the cards are using up my current supply!

Christmas Cards
I actually always am the one to "stretch the limit" and usually do very different, bright colors. This year I did a light green, a rose red color, off white and a rust. I used a lot of different textures/layers and the blending pen. They were fun but next year they will be easier as I started in July to make 150 of these. Atleast people have enjoyed them
I am trying to attach picture...never done this before!

This is my Christmas card this year. I punched out the berries with a 1/8" hole punch so you can see the burgundy cardstock underneath.

Unfortunately, I didn't post any to my gallery this year, I was in too much of a hurry to send them out.
For one set I used black cardstock, stamped the present stamp from Good Things Grow in teal and rose red (3 on each card) and used irridencent ice EP on the stamped image. And I also used one of the stamps in Snow Flurries on the black cardstock for the background, also put irridencent ice on them. They turned out great, but I didn't enjoy it much because it seemed like a lot of work.
Another set I used the Snowflake Spot set, made a one sheet wonder and just cut it up and did several cards out of the one sheet. Half I did using elegant eggplant, lavender lace, and almost amethyst; the other half night of navy, ballet blue and bashful blue. These cards were much easier to make, and I had so much fun with them.

I hope so because I am making mine tonight.
So, we'll be fashionably late! We won't get lost in the crowd of other cards!

Let's see...one card is Night of Navy with Silver and very vanilla cardstock. For this one I used the stamp set Heavenly Peace, and I used Night of Navy ink.
The other one is Real Red, Basic Black and Whisper White. The stamp set is Gifts of Joy, and the ink is Basic Black and Black StazOn. I colored the Santa image then embossed over it with Iridescent Ice.

I got my first one done and posted to the gallery... now I just have 59 more bows to tie on the rest of them! lol
Christmas Card 2006
I used Mellow Moss and Cranberry Crisp cardstock, some holly patterned paper, and Garden Green ink. I used the holly image from Happiest of Holidays and a sentiment set from Purple Onion Designs. (The sentiment from Happiest of Holidays just seemed "too big" or something.) The cranberry organdy ribbon came from Michael's. I really like the 5/8" wide ribbon - it's perfect when SU's narrow ribbon is too small and when SU's wide ribbon is too big.

This is my Christmas card for the year:
Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Real Red, Old Olive and Certainly Celery
Note to self: DO NOT choose a card next year the requires 47 holes pierced, faux stitching, craft ink and sponging on every layer. OMG it took me FOREVER! LMBO!

Our family Christmas card for 2006 is complete! I used mostly A Muse products for this design: their Thai Gold cards, their Merry Kissmas, Mistletoe, and kissing couple stamps. I also used SU markers for coloring, SU black ink for the main image, Bazzil paper for the black scallop, SU WW for the white oval, the Marvy Giga scalloped punch, the colluzzal oval, and Heidi Swapp bling for the berries. (Though I switched to DD red for the rest of the cards.)
