Our company is hosting it's annual national sales meeting on May 4th. I want to give all the sales reps in my territories a little something. The question is - WHAT? I want it to be something stamped, of course. Something easy, but also something they might use. Also, I don't want them to think, "oh boy an 'arts and crafts' project Pammy made at camp! Isn't that nice," and then throw it away.
Keep in mind, they will be getting a leather portfolio and a suede jacket from the company, along with free golfing at the company country club and free accommodations while they are here.
Any suggestions??? TIA!!!
P.S. I have both male and female sales reps in my territories.
You could give them one of those note cubes all stamped up purty. Or maybe you could do something with a picture frame. Tim Holtz's CD - An Altered Journey, I think it is - has a really neat project where he stuck some cut out letters on a picture frame, then covered the whole frame in metal plumbers tape. Then he ran a brayer over the tape so that the letters popped out. He did one where he left it like that, another one he used different colors of alcohol inks all over the metal. It looked really awesome. And it probably wouldn't be that hard to do several of. Just an idea, everyone likes to have pictures of family on their desks, so I'm sure they would appreciate a nice frame to put pics in.
Did I infer correctly that they will be coming into town? Staying in a hotel perhaps? What about stamping a sleave for a package of microwave popcorn...or maybe a few granola bars in case the meetings run long!
What about tumbled tiles? You could do a whole set with 4 coasters, a trivit, and a few fridge magnets.
Or, what about a stamped picture frame, like one of the wood ones from M's or J's then you could include a group photo in it and give it to them on the last day.
I've seen a folded paper folio use about 2" of a white paper bag to create a pocket. you put "things you might need "inside tylenol, breath mints, safty pins, an extra pen, no doze etc. I've done this for a wedding, but I got the idea from someone who did this for a convention. If I could sent you a copy I would, but I'm not up for pictures yet.
I bet everyone could use a coaster for their desk. I think the coasters were mentioned in an earlier reply. They are very quick to do and can be personalized so everyone does not have the same one!
