What are buying from Occasions?
I'm wondering what people are buying from Occasions. I have my eye on the dragonfly bundle, the accessory set with the tassels, and the set with the beautiful ladies. For Sale-A-Bration I guess I'll get the chicken set, although it will be out of fashion in a few months!

I ordered the Dragonfly & So in Love bundles, Falling in Love DSP and Watercolor Pencils. For SAB I ordered 2 card tins. Plan on filling them with all occasion cards & some postage stamps for a couple of gifts I'll be needing this spring.

I just looked at the SAB this morning, and it was, well, uninspiring. It looked like stuff I can buy at the Target Dollar Spot for a whole lot cheaper. Sorry if others are thrilled with it. Wouldn't entice me to overspend, but for me, that's a good thing!

I bought the tool bundle, the lighthouse set, dragonfly bundle, and two of the new hexagon embossing folders (bought the 2nd one because I didn't look over my order well enough first! lol)
I was not impressed with the SAB selections this year. I had a hard time deciding which ones to get.

That's what I thought too... not much for me that makes me want to order anything. I haven't seen a paper copy and that sometimes helps me, or when I see what others have created. I'm in no hurry anyway.

I'm going to get the So in Love bundle. I like the dies, and the sentiments in the stamp set are nice and usable.
Also, the lovely Tasty Treats DSP

I ordered Balloon Adventures Bundle, Oh So Succulent Bundle, and the That's The Tag Bundle from the Occasions Catalog.
I ordered Hey Chicks, Tasty Treats, and Delicate Details from the SAB catalog.
They're out for delivery today!

I like the food truck in the SAB catty and if I happen to put in a big enough order that's what I'd get. I know I wouldn't use it a lot but I love it!
I think there's lots of nice choices in the SAB catty, I just don't want a lot more supplies. I have enough.
I also think there's nice things in the occasions catty and if I was only 3-4 years into stamping there's things I'd yearn for.
I like the t-shirts and the baking/cooking stamp sets. I also like the tools and matching die. Not sure if I'll get any of it!

The only thing that gave me that "I gotta have it" feeling was the cute little egg carton that fits 4 eggs. I can see using it for Easter treats and in my kitchen for storing boiled eggs in this fridge. I will probably load up on these.
NOTHING else was intriguing for me which is worrisome because a dear friend always has a workshop during SAB and I like to have a nice order to help her out. Hopefully there are things in the big catalog that I can order that will be useful. As for SAB items, totally uninspiring in my opinion, though that might change when I see them IRL.

They will be releasing more SAB options in late February. I'm hoping for more inspiring options then. But for now I placed a small order with Beautiful You (the ladies) and some supplies which qualified for one item; I chose the food truck. I haven't purchased any builder stamps like that in a while, so this should be fun.

I'm planning on getting the ladies, and the succulents. That's it! There is nothing in SAB that I even remotely like. Maybe the add ons in Feb.

I haven't liked anything from the catalogs all year 😩. I really wanted to, but nothing really caught my eye. I'm wondering if it's because I've been reading so many other company's blogs and there's such a huge selection. Also, maybe I'm being more selective since I have a lot already- which is a good thing.

I feel the same way about SAB unfortunately. I think the Hey Chick set is cute. Last years SAB was so much better! Will probably get the delicate details and avant garde. I do need some basic supplies and I do want some stamp set from the Occasions and the Annual so I will qualify. Just sad there is not much to get too excited over. Maybe I will start seeing some created cards and get more stoked. Hey, a girl can dream, lol.

I love that we have such different opinions here. I really like a lot of things from the Occasions and SAB this time. I've already ordered the Sealed with Love bundle and the Sending Love DSP stack. I wanted those right away for Valentines. My eye is on several other bundles. Good thing I have a lot of required overtime this quarter at work.

Not.One.Thing. I think that I've moved totally and completely a different direction than SU... The only thing I want AT ALL is the cable knit embossing folder...

Yikes, I managed to spend enough to get 8 sale-a-bration items. I got the Beautiful You and the watercolor pencils, Dragonflies, Hot Air Balloons, Falling for you and So in Love bundle. I got a most of the DSP, cardstock and all of the Party Animal Suite. I will be doing a Z fold class with that.

Not much....First time in a very long time. I couldn't find much to purchase.
But then again. I'm really looking at what I buy these days.
I look to see how many ways I can use the stamp set.
But here is what I did order.

I have so many stamps that are similar to the current stamps - most are retired SU sets and I still have them and like them just fine. I have become more selective in purchasing and try not to duplicate similar stamps as I have in the past. I use very little DSP and have lots of the retired so I don't buy it. My style has changed to more CAS so small images are more attractive to me, but then again I have lots of small stamps that I haven't used yet. I just want more crafting time to use and enjoy what I have.

I agree that the Sale-a-bration was a bit disappointing. I might get the designer paper that you can color. As for the Occasions catalog, about all I want is the dragonfly set and the Succulent Garden paper. But there's still a number of sets in the big catalog that I want, so I won't have trouble placing an order. I just wish I could get excited about the free stuff, though.

I have put one order in so far, and I'll have a few more. I got the Delicate Details border stamps for my SAB item. I can't remember what I bought from the Occasions catty. High Tide, some paper, doilies.... I made it to just over $60, which is the Canadian amount.
I will at some point get the hot air balloon bundle, the ice cream bundle, the dragonfly bundle & the birthday one.
In SAB I still want the paper that coordinates with the hot air balloon. And I saw the ribbon in real life. It is VERY nice. The picture completely fails to show it off.
I do not need any of the flower sets, and I while I love my adult coloring books, those sheets don't interest me at all.
I don't mind the food truck, the tin, or the set of banners (Any Occasion).
I admit that much of it doesn't "Wow" me in the SAB book; I would not buy extra to qualify for much of it.
In general I am getting more picky, as I've been stamping a while.

Oh, yes the watercolor pencils too! I'll be getting those.
Nobody seems to like the T-shirts......I think they are really cute! A few votes for the cute food truck. I thought that would be a bigger hit too.
We all seem to be in the "I have enough" camp!

They haven't given us specifics but I would expect new stamps to be part of the offering.

The Occasion catalog is so far removed from my style that I found nothing I wanted. Sadly, this has been a trend with SU for me.

You know you can go into the Stampin up site. And look under your account to find out what you've ordered.
I went into my account and copy and pasted it in my post..

I have to wait until payday but my mom and I are buying Beautiful You, wanted to buy High Tide but it is only in photopolymer and won't buy any more of those as I don't care for them, Custom Tee bundle, Sending Thoughts, want Everyday Hero but again photopolymer.
From SAB want Tasty Trucks but it is photopolymer, so ordering Designer Tee. And by the time I actually order I will likely have changed my mind about everything.
