Default Sizes used for Pocket Card

 I am wanting to make horizontal pocket card for Christmas. I have read the tutorial, but the size is a little smaller than what I wanted for the card. I have looked at everyone's pocket cards in the gallery and they are all wonderful!

My question is: What size do you use, when making your pocket cards? The one's in the gallery seem bigger? Im horrible with measurements and woulnd't know where to score if I changed my card size.

Any help?

Danielle

Default

For my bridal shower, I did vertical pocket cards, and they were pretty simple.
I took an 8.5x11" paper and cut it down the middle of the short side, so it was 4.25x11". I then folded the 4.25x11" paper in half (4.25x5.5"). Then I folded the flap down about an inch. You can also score this inch mark if it's easier for you than eyeballing it.

Then I just made an insert card that was slightly smaller than the pocketfold...I think it was like 4x5.25".

To hold the pocketfold together I used brads.

They turned out really cute.
