What are 5 SU stamps you think are classics?
Today I used the stipple butterfly for my challenge card. I will never get rid of this stamp because it's just what I consider a *classic*. I know a lot of demonstrators are clearing out and getting rid of retired sets, but what are some that you have kept over the years that you just can't sell or get rid of?
Mine are stipple butterfly, roses in winter, terrific tulips, mixed bouquet, and balmy breezes. I thought it would be great to hear what some of yours have been.

Most sets are out of mind as soon as they are out of the catalog. There are a few that I still love and use and will never sell: In Full Bloom, a Christmas set with 2step poinsettias (sorry don't know the name), Heartfelt Thanks, Eat Cake and either Bloomin Wonderful or Mixed Bouquet.

Sketch It
I agree - Lovely as a Tree was the first one that came to mind. Sketch It is a classic, too, IMO.

I have only been into Stampin' Up! for 3 years or so. Not hard core. Now that I'm a demo, I really don't want any retired stamp sets, because I can't demo them.
But I think I'll be keeping stamp sets like Happy Everything and Celebrate Everything. I always tend to grab for these.
And out of the new catalog...I'm constantly playing with Upsy Daisy.

I will never get rid of Coast to Coast, even though I bought it from my upline's newly retired stamp sale only weeks before I decided to sign up.

Boy, that's a tough (but good!) question! I've been stamping for about 12 years now, and many of my all-time favorites are from the early, early years, like Decorator Shelf and Quilts Give Comfort. More recent faves would be Lovely as a Tree, Wonderful Wings, and Roses in Winter. Thanks for starting this thread; I look forward to seeing others' favorites.

Oh Yeah StampingShawn! I really wanted to put Feathered Hope on my list but had to only use 5 of the 6. So happy that someone else has that in their top 5. I will NEVER give that set up and that branch with the 3 birds sitting on it and the leafy branch are among my all time go to stamps.
3 cheers for Feathered Hope! Thanks for putting this on your list.

I've been stamping and buying SU since 1996 so it was virtually impossible to narrow down my list to only 5 classics:
Natural Beauty
Lovely as a Tree
Fern Lace BG
Feathered Hope
Handpainted Petites
I also really love Garden Pleasures, Touch of Nature, Seasonal Birds, Little by Little, Victorian Lace BG, Stipple Floral, Coast to Coast, Meow Meow, Bow Wow (SU needs better animal sets like they used to have!) & Abundant Joy

Tough question! Let's see...
To me "Classic" implies tested over time, so newer sets don't seem to it...
Happy Winter
Sincere Salutations
Canvas Background Stamp
Simply Sweet
Nice & Easy Notes
Now the list of sets I will never part with? MUCH longer... at the top lies:
New Little Someone
Web Wishes
Merry & Bright
Priceless
Always
Shapes & Shadows
Pocket Fun
Silly Sealife

I don't have a classic list, but i think it's clear that Lovely As A Tree, is true classic. I love way too many to narrow it down.
The thread did get me to wonder what SU's best selling sets were/are. Although, I'm not sure if that info answers the top 5 classic list because, the sets change over time as well as the customers do. But I'd still like to know SU's top sellers.
Thanks for this ?, I'm enjoying reading every one's list. Not to mention maybe will we see some new uploads with some of these classics. I really enjoy seeing cards done with older sets. Maybe it because I keep ALL of my sets, they go back about 12 years.
