Wow, Sandra, that was fast! I think the pictures make all the difference. I know that yesterday I was trying to put the wrong ends together at first. Your pictures would have been helpful. I liked your tip about opening the pad to find the three indentations and push with the thumb. I finally had to draw an arrow on mine with a permanent black marker.

I love the tutorial! Too funny!

At this point, I have the experience to do all those steps without really thinking about it, but don't know if I would have been much good at explaining the reassembling of the cranky inkpad. You did a great job with it!

Are all our tales from the inkside making you feel better, Jessica?

Yup! I'm glad this problem has been brought out into the light. Now, no stamper has to ever again sit alone in her stamp room, inky and frustrated because her pad is "broken"! We are now united under a common cause: Ink Pad Domination!

Or something like that...

Many of my customers have gone home with a SU tattoo on their fingers! But after you get it down, it is quick and easy. I think they are the best around with the large raised pad and no lid to get in the way. I still have a few "old" pads around. I love to use them to show the difference. When I do my customers always agree that the new SU pads are much better!

The ink pad of mine that sticks is also Chocolate Chip...I wonder why telling us something about eating chocolate??? To much maybe, lol.

Interesting... my choc chip also is a bit stiff....wonder if it was a batch of the containers that they used for that particular color. Oh well, just wiggle it... it'll give.

I've had the lid come off at a workshop and felt like a fool trying to get it back together..and took a while, but everyone got to see that it happens and is fixable.

You are exactly right Cyndy... that is exactly what I told my customers... they loved it that they could just snap the lid back on so easily. It didn't discourage anyone. We all had a good laugh when it went flying an didn't leave any tatoos. =)

First of all, you totally cracked me up!
Secondly, I feel we must be twins separated at birth! I accidently took one of my pads apart the other night and it took me FOREVER to put it back together again! What the heck is up with that??? I also felt like a moron!

Sandra - the tutorial is wonderful! I had a lid pop off just the other night, and although I finally managed to get it back on, these pictures will help me get it right a lot sooner! FYI, I didn't see a survey attached.

A bit of a hijack... Don't you hate it when this happens? My DH is not an engineer, buy I can struggle with opening something, and he will come along and open it in seconds. Uggghhhh...

Dorothy... I feel your pain... my husband has an Engineering/Techy background... and he does the sam thing..... although, he did completely take apart one of the SU punches that had totally fallen apart on a customer of mine... and he put it all back together before my stamp camp was half way done!!! Made her very happy!!!
