Default Pearl X

I like Interference Gold and the Duo colors. I think it would be fun to use several different colors on the new Snappy Starts (or old Vivid Greetings). I have a Pearl X card posted in the Spring Contest called Watercolor Garden II. I have only tried stamping in Versamark and brushing on some powder. I have a soft makeup brush to brush it off with. I know there is a lot more you can do with Pearl X (so many techniques, so little time :)

Did you know you can use a versamarker pen and apply Pearl X whereever you want?

AFter the Thread killing discussion, I wanted to find the OLDEST thread on here & see if they can be brought back to life----this one was posted in Feb. 2 years ago! It's the oldest one still in the system that I can find. Funny to read as this was before the AquaPainter w/ floor wax "rage." I obviously am not doing anything I need to be doing if I'm looking up dead threads!!!!

Oh how funny! This must have been one of the first threads Tracy started to generate some discussion in the forums. Obviously, at that point there were not very many of us on the site- it started with her downline and after a few notices on some SU mailing lists, we were off and running!! I still had the "notify me when a reply is posted" active on this thread!

You are too kind!

Tracy, are you still following this thread? How did we do?

I'm afraid I haven't made much more progress with the Pearl X in these 2 years. I haven't even bought any Future Floor Wax yet (gasp). It is on my to do list though!

If you fill an aquapainter w/ future floor finish then dip it in the Pearl-Ex to paint, it seals it on.

so you don't have to do anything else with the pearl ex? Just put the future floor wax in your aqua painter ( assuming after this, that is all you can use it for?) and then dip it in the pearl ex and paint away? Does anyone have a link to a gallery pic using this method??? This sounds very interesting.

thanks
