Default ISO Halloween Idea for Neighbors to Pass it on?

I'm trying to find the project idea posted here recently where you create some kind of Halloween goody bag and ring your neighbor's doorbell and then run and they find it with a poem about passing it on? Sorry not the best description but I know it's here somewhere. TIA, Kim.

In the Oct 2006 issue of Paper Crafts there is a You've been spooked box that you're supposed to pass on to neighbors with a detachable tag that they are supposed to put in their windows so they don't get "spooked" again. Not sure if that's what you're looking for

I also think either hallmark or walmart was selling some kind of bag and tags called Boo bags that is basically the same concept.

My Michaels also just started something similar I will have to look and see what it is. I just remember seeing the sign "You've been Boo'd".

You can google "You've been boo'd" and you'll get a variety of poems - some for neighbors, some for friends at work, etc. This tradition has been around for years, but in the last couple of years, places like Target and Walmart have started selling "Boo" kits.

The premise is you take two bags, baskets or other containers and fill them with treats - candies, candles, Halloween chotskies. You include the poem with instructions that they boo two other people and put up a little ghost sign so they don't get boo'd again. It is fun to see the "boos" multiply throughout your neighborhood or the cubes at work.

Sounds like a cute idea...but most of my neighbors sit outside from 5 until about 10:30 0r 11...so it would be hard to sneak something to someone...Halloween is a big deal in our neighborhood....I love that idea!!
