As a visitor to a craft show...
do you buy supplies/embellishments from other crafters?
I'm signed up to do some shows this fall and wondered if little bags of wool felt die cuts in A Muse colors would sell. What would you buy for $1 at a craft show? I'm thinking 12 felt die cuts in a small ziplock with stamped bag topper or an assortment of buttons and bakers twine or an assortment of 20 pieces 4.25 x 5.5 cardstock in a baggie or what do you think would sell... I live in a mostly rural area with some tourists and visitors. Thanks. |
I like the idea of the die cuts, buttons, and bakers twine! I would buy these, especially if they are items I've never used but want to try a small amount.
Maybe you could assemble some $1 or $2 items for kids, like a simple color-your-own card? |
The craft shows I have attended don't allow you to sell supplies. That being said I think if you are only asking a dollar any of your ideas would do great. Just make sure you are making some money.

die cuts
Not sure about copyright laws on dies, but you might want to check with the die maker if they allow the sale of diecuts made with the dies. I think buttons and twine would be a good idea though.

I think if you had finished idea samples that go along with your bags of embellishments, they might sell faster and you could label them as kit supplies.

Perhaps you can offer some cards for sale that use the materials you want to offer in the small kits. Folks can buy the card or assemble one themselves from the kit materials.
