I have read the tutorial about colored pencils, stumps and gamsol...but I can't find gamsol. Is that the right name? Is it a brand name? Please help!
Thanks, Terri
I just buy the Mona Lisa brand of odorless mineral spirits from Michael's. It's back on the oil paints aisle. I think it was $3.99 or so. It works fine with my Prismacolors.

Hi!
Home Depot has odorless Mineral spirits where they keep paint! I dont have a Michaels or Joanns near where I live.. so I checked there and they had it! It works awesome!
I found something at Hobby Lobby that works great. I dodn't remember the name of it and I'm at work. I think it was 4 or 5 dollars, and was in the aisle with all the Prismacolor pencils and stumps. Good luck!

I found the Gamsol at a local art supply store. It was $8.99 for a quart. They were much cheaper than Michaels. I also bought Gum Arabic at the art supply store for $8.00, Michael sells the Mona Lisa, which is basically the same thing, at $11.99 a quart. Good Luck!
