Default It is Army

I guess I just assumed there was a general verse that would cover the occasion.

Besides the regular congratulations, we're proud of you, what an accomplishment type stuff, any military specific sayings would be branch specific. For example, you don't call Marines, "soldiers" or Navy pilots, "airmen".

If you want light-hearted, "armed and dangerous" would be cute, as would somthing like "mail call". "We salute you" would be ok too.

Anything you have for the 4th of July (red/white/blue, flags, stars and stripes, etc) is definitely appropriate. Our country comes way before any silly, branch rivalries.

Hope that helps!
