Default Vacation and Stamping

I'll be going on a week-long relaxing vacation soon with my husband and have thought about taking some stamping/cardmaking supplies along to "play" with. We are staying in a condo on the beach and have purposely not scheduled too many activities because we want to have a fun, no-pressure vacation - just doing things we want, when we want.
My husband likes to relax by watching TV and napping. When he's doing this, I would like to be creative with my paper, stamps, and ink.
What do you think - good idea or bad?

I think it is a great idea as long as he is okay with it. Vacation is to relax and if it is relaxing for you, then it is perfect!!

Good idea! I just got back from a vacation to Mexico... while I didn't bring anything to be crafty with (should have though!) I brought my laptop. It was for work mostly, but I was able to get on SCS like 10 times a day because I had the time. It was MY own way of relaxing, which is the point of a vacation right?

Bring your supplies and if you have some leisure time and if hubby agrees, I say, "go for it". If you don't get any free time, at least you are prepared if you do!!

I went on vacation to the beach last week, a day or two AFTER I got all kinds of new stuff delivered to me! The new colors, a couple new stamp sets....so, I made up a little bag and brought it with me; I didn't take it out til Friday though; Do the Hula was one of the new sets so I mainly stamped some of those designs and cut them out; Luckily, we had a gorgeous week, so I didn't spend too much time stamping, but it was nice having it, just in case! BTW, for the 1st time EVER, DH brought work with him on vaca!!!! Needless to say, no guilty feelings when I did stamp! Hope your weather is as great as mine was!

I always take along pre-stamped images and color them in. Use the Gamsol Magic technique.....it is so easy to travel with! My DH says I never see the scenery! LOL
