Default Using shimmer cardstock?

Hi-

I bought a few of this really nice paper from PTI, but I have NO clue how to use it..what types of stamps do you use, and then how do you use it? I have a snowman stamp, stamp him on there and then cut out? Any samples would be great!!

I use the shimmery white from SU and I just stamp my image on with stazon and I color the images. I have used my markers, blender pens and ink pads and watercolor crayons and had great results. I like it because it seems to be better about not pilling up when using the blender pen and you get a nice subtle shimmer for your image.

Shimmery White by SU can be used just like any other white cardstock. It's wonderful for Christmas cards, and your snowman with just a tiny bit of marker to bring him out would be wonderful! I would layer the SW on some other cardstock since the front of the card is the main part that you want to stand out and say "look at me!" SW is also nice for spring flower cards

I love the shimmery paper. I just got the dark blue shimmer from PTI. I can not wait to play with this paper. It's gorgeous!
I use the white quite often when I am making a winter card. It really makes a difference! Just play with your paper! you're going to love it! LOL!

If you stamp on it with regular dye based ink and take a wet watercolor brush to trace over the lines it comes out looking really cool. I got a swap from convention done like this and I really liked it.

I love shimmery white and other metallic cardstocks. One of my favorite things to do with SW is to paint it with Twinkling H20s for even more sparkle and shimmer.

That is how I made the flowers on this card:

I bet you'll see lots of great examples if you put in the name of the PTI paper (or shimmery white or brushed silver etc.) in the search field in the photo gallery!

Happy Crafting!
