Default Using recycled household items for stamping projects

I bought a bag of apples and they came in the coolest mesh bag. I am thinking of using it for a card. I have several ideas 1. attach the mesh - it is very soft to the card 2. Ink the mesh and somehow use it to stamp a background.

Anyway have you ever used any recycled household items for your stamping projects? If so what and do you have any pictures?
