uses for mulberry paper

I have some mulberry paper that I have previously used for layering however I can't think of anything else to do with it. Everyone here is so creative that I was wondering how others use this paper for both card making and scrapbooking.

I use mulberry paper for layering as well, but I wet the edges and fray them to give it a softer look, like I have seen some behind some wedding pictures so it gave it a matted softer feel. I have never used it without wetting the edges, so it is hard to say what else can be done. Cant wait to find out i have alot.

You can make flowers with the mulberry paper.
I've only done it one time and my friend loved the card.
It has a butterfly and grass also done with mulberry paper. If you want to see it PM me with your email address.

Try embossing on it...experiment w/ different colors of embossing powder for the color of mulberry paper you're using. ALSO, another really cool technique is to clear emboss on white mulberry paper, then spritz it w/ reinkers mixed w/ water, then iron between two sheets of paper until the EP comes through. Gives a great batik look. I learned this technique from the Carol Duval show & Rick from Ranger industries. He used the paper to cover a vase, but you can use it for so much more.
