Default Storage for Large Tsukineko Daubers

Does anybody have good idea for storing the large Tsukineko daubers? I am looking for something where each one would have a cubby. Right now they are in a drawer and some of the DOX colors have contaminated each other. I looked at the divided box I use for ink spot pads but they are not quite high enough. The lids flatten the sponge top when closed.

Subbing because I'll need a solution too. I haven't tested the fit yet but I was thinking of plastic cups (~3 ounces, often found in bathrooms) lined up in a tray or box. A photo box would provide a lid if everything else worked.

We are (finally) at the stage of setting up my room. One of 4 bookcases have been assembled and placed in the room! The others need more stuff cleared out of the room first. Then I can get reacquainted with my toys and figure out storage for the things that stand the test of time (i.e. not purged or trashed.)

This apparently works. The little bead cases would be removed - and maybe used for something else? I saved it after reading a blog and when I was thinking of buying some of the jumbos. (I didn’t happen to buy any.) I can try to find the blog.

Bead cases are such useful things! Thanks for the post beans.

I'm still very far away from having my space set up properly. I am hoping to use items already in my stash but also am willing to buy something if it is s better fit. Time will tell what my dauber storage will be but it'll be fun reading this thread!

We have these in Australia: https://www.craftonline.com.au/produ...daubers-cob3s1
Sometimes deeper plastic compartment boxes are sold as fishing or nail and screw
storage - they may be cheaper than the same thing sold as bead or sewing storage.

AussieJenny - I do have one of them for my small daubers - what I’m looking for is something like that but larger to accommodate the larger daubers.  https://www.scrapbookpal.com/tsukineko-jumbo-dauber/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI4aCl3sqd5wIVEPDACh0InAWwEAQYASA BEgK_k_D_BwE

Bjeans, thank you!  I believe it might.  My local store has 7 in store so will check them out at lunch one day next week and post the answer when I try it.

So, went to Joann and they don't have in the store - they have a different brand that isn't high enough.  A bit leery of ordering online as I have had similar issues with Michaels where they advertised Bazzill card stock but sent me Martha Stewart because they are phasing out the Bazzill.  So I have a feeling I'd get what I saw today, not what it said I was ordering since they say this store has 7 of them in stock.

The search goes on.  Since the original post was several years ago, that one may be out of production.

You might want to look at the bead boxes on Amazon, since you can ask buyers if the box without the insert would fit something X inches tall. Or Darice has a website - they might be able to tell you. eBay has Darice storage too.

I store mine in a small basket in a drawer with all my applicators.
