Default Upload card size

Can one assume that unless otherwise mentioned, that the cards are the A2 size? Some that I case just don't seem like they work on that size. Thanks to everyone out there that contributes to this site. It's soooo awesome.

You know, I wouldn't assume that they are standard, or that people will say so one way or the other. Sometimes people don't put info as to the size of the card at all.

Lots of times the pictures look like they are standard, I know, but the pictures can be deceiving.

If it is a card you really want to CASE exactly, I would probably send a PM to the person and nicely ask what size the card is.

Sometimes I'll CASE a card pretty close to the original and mine comes out with different dimensions (i.e. 1/2" from edge and looks like it should be 3/4"). So, it's difficult to say what they are. I agree with buggainok and contact the artist and ask.

I wouldn't assume anything. As I noticed more people asking, I try to remember to put the size in my description. But often, unless you know the size of the stamped image, it's hard to tell. A cropped photo doesn't give much idea of the card size unless there is something else in it to give a sense of scale.

The size is even harder to judge when digital images were used on the card, since you don't know what sizes the images were scaled to before printing. It's really helpful when the description gives the dimensions.
