Question Paint Can Presentation question

Ok all you talented ladies who have made these paint cans...

Stupid question perhaps but....how do you present your paint cans? I mean do you actually seal them back up? And if so, how do the recipients open them? I have seen some people include an "opener" with the can but where do you get those? I didnt know if people where just filling the cans and then using the lid as a sort of decorative "topper" off to one side or what.
From some of the gallery pictures it would appear like that but I wondered of that was just for the sake of sharing with us what was inside the can prior to giving it away.

Thanks
Anna

The opener is no extra charge at Lowe's. I am sure that is like that everywhere though.

Ok I must be really duh! Or things are different in the States but the openers arent any extra here either when I purchase paint....now granted I havent tried to buy an empty new paint can but I would think they would frown at giving me a free opener too when I havent bought paint, just an empty can :( Am I wrong or what am I missing?..LOL
