Default Un-inked spectrum pad question

Does anyone know with the un-inked spectrum pad, if the pads can be popped out? I know they slide together and apart. But they remind me of the narrow inkpads that Paintbox makes. You can 'pop' them out one at a time and it's like a stampin' spot. So I could make my own in color spots! (well, 5 of them, anyway)

Thanks!
Melissa

I just looked at one. The pads cannot be removed, at least not without breaking something.

That would be awesome if they could be removed though....then we could play around and make difference spectrum pads!

Thanks for looking, Alice.

Bummer though! thought I had a cheaper way to have my "In Color" spots than buying felt and plastic cases.

Well, I'll keep looking.
