UGGG my bellas
Ok so it has been over 2 weeks since my bellas shipped and they are still not here yet. I am so excited to play with them and it is killing me. I have 2 packages coming one that shipped on the 28th of April and one that shipped on the 1st of May. What is the longest you have had to wait and when do I start to worry??

Emily sent me two pkgs that were either mailed the same day or one the next day (I don't remember). Once got to me very quickly. The other took almost 3 wks. I think it's hit or miss with the postal service. Not sure if it gets held up in Canadian P.O. or USPS.

Emily is moving into her new space, so orders got delayed somewhat. She writes about it on her blog. I think she will be caught up very soon.

My first order took 21 days. I am currently waiting on 3 seperate orders.
I am so anxious to get them that it makes the wait seem longer than it really is

How are these being shipped? Are they postal service? If it is there is no way to track them. That is why I like things shipped UPS so I can check to see when it will arrive. 3 weeks seems like a long time!!!

Emily is in Canada, so these are sent via Canadian post, and then they pass to the USPS. They have to clear customs as well, so I think that can sometimes cause a hang-up.

I think it really all depends, some days it clears fast and some days really slow. But they are really worth the wait!!!

I ordered on April 23rd...still didn't show as being shipped April 30 so I sent Em an email because I wanted to add to my order. Placed a second order that day, then they both supposedly shipped May 4th. I received one package May 9th and the other May 12th. I would definitely send her an email to inquire. Her new move includes upgrading the website to include trackable shipping so I think that will help. They are definitely having growing pains, but Em always writes back and makes sure that her customers are happy (in my experience).

My order was "pending" for over a week. I did an email when it was ready to ship. Not sure if it was automatic or because I sent an email.

My first order was pending for almost, once they shipped I got them in less than a week. Complete and utter torture.

Heres the thing with the Bellas. Emily did the shipping and packing by herself in her home. Then BOOM the bellas took off so quick so fast. She is always posting about the shipping on her blog. So please check that out, you can also call her. She is currently moving into a new space where shipping will run much more smoothly and faster, she even has hired some people.

I promise you Bellas are worth the wait!!! I have placed probably 7-8 orders - just depending on how things go thru customs, I have received some orders a week after shipping and some 3 weeks.

It may not just be the Canadian post/customs issue. My SIL who lives less than a mile away sent a birthday invite for her DD's 1st birthday on May 1st. It just arrived today. So, maybe it's our friendly postman who is to blame from time to time.

girls, don't feel bad. that's how long EVERYTHING takes to get here. the only quick ones are old navy and amazon. any time i wait for anything it normally takes about two weeks! one time i ordered something off of the bay and it took 3 MONTHS to get here, and it wasn't misent or anything. just slow.... but hang in there, they are worth the wait!

funny thing is, if we didn't LOVE, CHERISH, HOARDE, and OBSESS about our Bellas, the wait wouldn't be so bad, would it? I know when I have to wait a month to get some paper or something I ordered at my hostess club, no big deal. But Bellas? OMG...

I am so glad that I am not the only one with not getting her bella's yet. Mine shipped on the 30th and still nothing. I have a friend who lives close hers shipped on the 5th of May and she already got hers! I think the post office is so slow and it is killing me everytime I go to my mail box and there is nothing but junk and bills!!!
Oh and I know it has nothing to do with Em it is totally a post thing that is controlled by no one but the Postal Gods!! Hee!! Here is to hoping maybe today when I get home they will be in my box!!! Jess

Awwww - Huge hug Emily ...
I had a bf that lived in Calgary and we'd mail stuff back and forth all the time. Sometimes things would arrive quicky (letters and post cards) but anything that is even slightly bulky or is indeed a package, gets held up on the USPS side.
The Bellas will be worth the wait. I've make several cards now and just love them.
*maybe someday I'll remeber to take pictures of them before I give them away*

Em - hugs!!! I know the bellas are worth the wait
BTW - for you all, Em has the most awesome customer service! I had some sort of brain [email protected] when I entered in my address & I accidentally put in the wrong state. After 10 seconds of panic, I emailed Em the problem & she emailed me back w/in a few hours that it had been fixed & my order would be fine. Gotta love that!

I hope you all know that I know it has nothing to do with Emily, she can't control the post office. I just was wondering if it was normal that the "SHIPPING" (not Emily getting them sent out) took this long. I didn't want to make Emily feel bad that it was slow to get orders, this is nothing she can control. I didn't want to make anyone feel bad, I love the bellas and didn't want them to be MIA while trying to cross the border!!!

My first order took exactly one week to arrive after they were shipped....this last order took 16 VERY LONG days from the day they left her until they arrived to me!!! LOL I have a full cart right now but have been making myself hold out on ordering until she offers some different shipping options....plus I just KNOW there must be a new Bella coming....right, Em?

Newbie here . . . .
I ordered mine on April 26th . . . . anxiously awaiting so that I can place another order. But we've been in contact with each other so hopefully they will be here soon!
I have a question for all the bella professionals out there. . . . what product do you use to place the rubber on the acrylic block? I know that Em shows tack n peel on her site but has anyone found another product that works as well? I'm trying to find something at Michael's or ACMoore.
Thanks,
Charlene

I just use double-sided tape and stick it to the block and the bellas stay on just fine. Then I can peel it off the block and put new tape on the next time. It works great for me and it's cheap!

Its nothing to do with how fast Emily gets them out... its CUSTOMS! I live on the Canadian border near Port Huron Michigan, and shipped stamps to a customer in Owosso Michigan (about a two hour drive or so)...and the parcel took 4 weeks... LITERALLY... In fact we had given up on it and I sent a second package 2 day service and beat the first parcel by a week!
Most Canadian sm. packages are automatically insured up to $100 value, but the customs form filled out for sm. packages does not have a tracking number. For larger packages, it does have a tracking number, but that number is not very helpful as all it says is A) date, time and post office the parcel was received at B) when the parcel is at customs and C) the day after it is delivered, the www.canadapost.ca site is updated to say "Parcel successfully delivered". So the information is more for the Sender than the Recipient, as (Duh) the recipient would know when the parcel is delivered and would not be checking the site the day after it was delivered to see if it was.... hehehe
Hopefully one day soon Canada and the US will have a system in place like UPS where we can go online, and know what street our parcel is on, what truck number, the name of the driver, what he had for lunch, and which radio station he listens to while driving..... *grin*.... Ya gotta love UPS (and Fed Ex for that matter!).
Be patient with your Bella's... I personally do not own any, but I believe they are worth the wait!~ Just dont be so hard on Emily...she has no control over customs!

You know... on second thought... it could be that the bellas are just so darned cute that those customs folks are opening the packages and having card making parties and they just are not done with your stamps yet.... (cleaning them and re-packaging them).....hehehe.... just a little conspiracy theory to throw in....

Friday will be 1 month since I ordered my Bellas and I haven't gotten them yet ! I am trying to remind myself that they are having some growing pains with the business - but it has been 1 month ! I ordered them to make cards for several special events that have already happened last week !! I am frustrated and sad because I wanted to order others - but I am not sure now !!
Thanks for letting me vent on your thread !
