Twinkling H2Os vs. Pearl-Ex Powder
Trying to decide which of these to get. I have read how to use them. Seems like Twinkling H2Os would be easier to use than Pearl-Ex powders. But what are the differences? Do they both give the same effect?

Twinkling H20's are little water color cakes that have mica in them so they "twinkle" or shimmer. Great for soft translucent color application. They come in over a hundred colors now - and you can lighten the intense colors with whites, or change the colors with coppery metallics. Beautiful. I love 'em because they are so easy.
Pearl-Ex's are mica powders that must be combined with something to stick them to paper or clay (or what-have-you)- so you will need to mix them with embossing powder, mix them in the clay, mix them with some sort of media to apply. More flexibilty, more applications, but more effort. Nina |
