Tutorial?

I want to do something like this for a workshop. Does anyone know where I could find a tutorial for it?

Check around this site: http://www.d-originals.com/oscshop/catalog/index.php

They sell bottle caps and have a couple books on using them. You might find something there.

Hay Abby!
Here's a great tutorial! You can whittle it down to suit your desires.
If the link doesn't go to the right page, only to the home page, click on 'Classes' on the top grid, then on 'Class 17'.. Bottle Cap Jewelry Class. It isn't the same bracelet but all basic inst. are there! HTH!!

Do you think I could use the crop a dile to put the holes in the bottle caps? Or do you think it would put too big of a hole in it?

I don't have a Crop-a-dile. If you don't get an answer here, you could start another thread stating that question. Good luck, Stormy

Yes it would be to big. I think I would use a small nail.

Okay I am thinking of putting the Utee clear embossing powder in instead of the resin. How much do you think I should put in and for how long should I put it in the oven?

I've use my eyelet hole punch, the really tiny one, to punch holes in bottle caps, it works pretty well. I also use a "dimensional adhesive" (Dimensional Magic, Liquid Glass, Crystal Lacquer, etc, etc)to fill in the caps after I've put in my art work, it takes a while to dry but it works great and no baking.

It doesn't take very long. I use my "crafting" toaster oven when melting embossing powder in bottle caps. I put it on 350 and it only takes a couple minutes. As soon as it looks liquid, out them out. You don't want it to get so hot it boils KWIM? That would create bubbles. When you take it out be very careful so it doesn't spill.

Crystal effects would work, but you would probably get bubbles in it.
