Default Turpenoid, Qtn about Magic Colored Pencils Technique

I have the Turpenoid, not the 'real' Gamsol. I found Turpenoid from AC Moore when I was living in NC. The technique with Prismacolors can be nice, but they leave a stained oily look for a while then fade out. Also the colors do not move around as much as I would like them to. Is this because of the Turpenoid or something else I may be doing wrong? Is Gamsol a must-have or will Turnepoid do?

I'd say you *must* have Gamsol. I've even heard there's a big difference between generic odorless mineral spirits (OMS) and the real name brand Gamblin GAMSOL. It's so incredibly cheap it's worth a try!
