I was so inspired by Dawn McVey's over-the-top-beautiful Christmas tags that I ordered these 2 sets from Papertrey. I'm going to make sets of tags for "early" Christmas gifts for friends and family.
I just bought a Martha score board, ya I am a little late with this purchase. I should have bought this years ago! I Love It!!!

Tags in my future too, as I loved Dawn's post, and I have those 2 sets!
I'm also excited about a couple of Northwoods stamps I just bought - my first from this company. One is a spruce tree with cardinals, and the other is a snow scene with an arched bridge over a creek. And a new one from Impression Obsession - a covered bridge during the fall.

This is probably going to be the goofy one. My DH gave me a pad of acrylic paper tonight, lol. That is what's inspiring me. I started making die cuts from it & coloring. Now, I want all sorts of acrylic paints and supplies.
I just bought the Santa (I Believe) stamp from Flourishes. That inspires me because the stamp has such GREAT detail, that it doesn't need much more-- perfect for making tons of cards for Christmas with a lot of WOW factor. I know it's not a new stamp, but it's new to me! And I am also a huge fan of the Cherry Cobbler color from SU!
Friendship Jar from PTI......i loved the original, then the fall fillers....and now the winter fillers. LOVE all of them. and the jar die....
funny, after getting the die i found i had the original sizzix jar die AND a Judith jar stamp. duh. different sizes and the PTI die is easier to use. but i did think...."why dont i know what i have on hand?" of course, i had never used the Judith or Sizzix jars.

I'm totally in love with (and obsessed with) the new scallop square duo in the SU holiday mini (not sure if it's exclusive or not...I'll have to check out the Sizzix website). BUT I love it! I can't seem to make a card without it....or at least dream of cards with it since I have not stamped much lately. It's just so cute with all those Christmas stamps on it!!!!
Ohhh! I love my silhouette. Just pulled it out again yesterday. Have fun with it Julie!
Hmmmm...what's inspiring me lately?
Cosmo Cricket Circa 1934 line
Pink Paislee Sweetness and Parisian lines
Tim Holtz Sizzix dies especially Tattered Florals and Tattered Leaves
Hero Arts Background stamps
all things doily inspired

Thanks for reminding me of the lovely texture of acrylic paper.
My latest treasure is Bristol Board for when I want bright white but still want to use my watercolours - so smooth to stamp on and no pilling.
I'm liking birds and metallics just now.
Why is it so easy to crush on products that aren't available yet? I'm excited about these:
1. Practicing Creativity's Everyday Prints. Just caught the sneak peek today and will probably have it in my cart by the end of the week. Love the style of the sentiments.
2. The recently announced Air Mail Baker's Twine from Divine Twine. Can't wait to order that next month.
The new Verve release. I love their stamps. They stamp so well and I have two products. Both from SU. The Wallpaper embossing folder and the Cherry Cobbler paper. I want to use both on all the cards I do!

Add me to the fan club of Bristol Board. That is heavenly paper. I also love Bristol Vellum.
I visited a new-to-me craft shop last week that had hundreds of gorgeous samples for inspirtion. Several Christmas cards used a new Hero Arts stamp, Tree with branch and flourishes for example embossed in silver, cut on a small rectangle and mounted on odd rectangles of different textured silver card; MS edge punch with a strip of silver behind on the inside edge. So classy!
The tree also looked good embossed in red, and gold, and green.....it isn't even a proper Christmas tree! so you can use the stamp all through the year
I am loving stamping on watercolor paper and using Mark-It markers. Thank you all so much for telling me about that. I still like using my colored pencils and goo gone too. I also found that I can use some of my regular markers on the watercolor paper, so that gives me tons more colors; I just have to use them "lightly" and not go over any area too much with them. Got some clear embossing powder coming, so looking foward to using my watercolor pencils watercolor crayons and markers to color in embossed images on the watercolor paper. Will have to use my Su blending pens with the watercolor pencils/crayons.
Also have two Nativity stamp sets that I got from CTMH that I look forward to using. I love the Stained Glass Window look on the "Gloria" set and the overall sweetness of the "Christmas Story" set. They both have very touching scenes with the Baby Jesus and Mary, Joseph and the animals. I think the Stained Glass look of the Gloria set will be pretty colored in red, blue, maybe yellow for the windows and covered with that Clear Glass or Clear Lacquer (I forget what it's called) to look like real stained glass.
