It's not just a straightforward conversion, though. Our (European) paper size is metric, like the Australian/NewZealand, so a quarter sheet of card is not quite your A2 and this affects the measurements of most fun folds. I always try to offer both measurements for any folds I feature in the TLC, but I too would love to see them both featured in the tutorials section. I usually wing the conversion to metric, because it's wasteful of cardstock for me to trim a sheet to imperial size. I have a few pieces of SU and Bazzill Card Shoppe for when I think it's going to be crucial and easier to use.
Ironically, a metric A4 sheet of paper is 210 by 297 mm. The 210 is easy to halve, but measuring 148.5 mm . I usually just say a sheet of paper cut in half and scored down the centre.
