Default trimming background stamps

I just ordered By Definition and was wondering if most people trim the background stamps. I always do, but it seems almost pointless.

I trim mine but understand what you mean. Stamps like By Definitions, Canvas and Just Jeans have very little to trim. Others like On the Spot and Filagree I trimmed some of the "indentations" a little.
