Default Refilling ink pads

I have had some of my ink pads for several years and feel that they are running out of ink (I am not a demo so I don't use them as often as some of you). My question is how much ink from the reinkers should I be putting in the ink pad? All of it? Half a bottle?

you don't need that much

I GENTLY squeeze it and go back and forth across the padhorizontally and then vertically. I have had my real red reinker for over a year and still have about 1/3 of the bottle left, and I use that one the most

Just a squirt back and forth across the pad and then again going the other direction....leave it sit a little while to soak in and then try it...if it needs more repeat and wait and see...don't over ink it as you will get messy images!
Craft pads may need to be more moist..I don't use a lot so again start with a little and work up for those also...but they do need to be more moist than the classics as you use them to emboss,.

Previous posts have talked about Perfect Ink Refresher helping to refresh drying out pads and pens. I have yet to try myself but it is on backorder from Wilde-Ideas. Should have in 2 weeks. Then I can tell you if I really like it or not.
