Yes! I get it at Staples - you can also get it at Amazon, although I didn't find the exact kind I use today when I saw this thread - I'll keep looking.
I agree with Lydia! Have been using removable Avery labels/ Avery label paper for excellent masking.
When in desperation, sticky notes are okay ... but with just one wee edge sticking onto the masked image, one's patience gets tested beyond sanity levels ... but in a desperation-pinch ... it's allowed. However, no whining please. ;)
I have used Judikins Eclipse Tape, and I like it. Recently, I used Therm-O-Web Masking Magic, and I loved that. Instead of paper, it's a film so you can wipe ink right off of it and reuse it easily. Paper absorbs the ink so after a few uses, I have to discard the mask and start over again. I tried to use a punch on the Magic Mask and almost lost the punch. The paper and film got stuck, and it was very difficult to dislodge it. Maybe that's true of all masks? They are just too thin to punch out shapes. The directions assume you're stamping on the backing and suggest using scissors to cut out the image; I used a die cut a circle without a problem.
I adored Eclipse tape & used it for years. When it became pretty impossible to find in the large sized roll, I made the switch to Avery.

Give the Avery a try ... very easy to die cut. Just stamp as many masks as you need, die cut & enjoy your stamping play time.
I am looking to place an order today with the sales...and I am thinking I would like to get/try some real masking paper. (vs using post its)
What is your favorite kind?
I've been making my own "all-over-sticky" Post-its paper with cheap copy paper and this inexpensive 3M repositionable glue stick. It works brilliantly!
For reusable masks, I use the Simon Says Stamp masking paper, mostly because it is relatively inexpensive, and sturdy enough. I took a tip from Maureen Wong, and "laminate" my stamping masks with packing tape. Just stick a piece of tape over the stamped image (paper side, of course) before cutting it out, and then cut the shape out with your scissors. That way, you can wipe the ink off after stamping, and reuse the masks until they lose their sticky. In a pinch, or if I know I won't reuse the mask, I'll use the full-sticky-back Post It notes. They work great for the short term, but for some reason, packing tape won't stick to them, so they can't be laminated for multiple uses. I know the July 4th sales are over for this year, but just thought I'd put this out there for anyone in future.
