That is just totally wrong! Why would anyone think I am "addicted" to SCS? I know I'm on here alot. Well, like several times a day.... but that's not that much. I know I spend hours on here each time I log on, but that's not my fault. It's all the cool people on SCS that lure me in. So I wouldn't exactly call it an addiction. Anyhow, isn't an addiction usually something you can't stop doing? Well..... I could stop...... no really..... I could. If I wanted to I could stop. It's just now a problem, so why would I need to stop. Ok, sure, my laptop goes with me to the living room and I browse SCS while I watch tv, movies or when the kids are watching cartoons. But I still don't see how you could call it an addiction. Watch. I really can stop. I'll stop right now.

Ok, well, I'll stop tomorrow. There's some kind of guessing challenge going on tomorrow. I think it's called a goodie bag contest. So I have to wait until tomorrow to stop. I did say I would join in.

Yeah Angie, and tonight when my DH had the audacity to have the internet connected to his laptop and I was finished "reteaching my son his fifth grade Math and doing the 3 pages of problems with him" I was so stressed out! I didn't really need a fix but because I couldn't log on I went to Michael's and looked in case there was something that I could use my 40% coupon on that I needed for more SCS things I had seen. And now it is after midnight and my DH went to bed and said, "It was so nice relating to you tonight" (sarcastically) before he left...but I had to figure out this contest thing and then there was this other gal who needed ideas quick, and I know I won't be on here at least until I get the kids off to school...and then I will be connected ALL DAY, unless I drag myself out to do more Christmas shopping but I have NO idea what I want to buy....and we didn't really need Christmas cookies this year...why you could just be addicted to those!
laurelwright you crack me up!!! Thanks for the laugh I can go to bed now. See you all tomorrow!!

I have another board that I've visited for several years, and I've often felt like I should just walk away and never go back!! I was doing pretty good until Stampin' Discuss went down and I found SCS!! AAHHH!!! There should be a support group for addicted stampers who can't stop checking their favorite stamping board dozens of times a day!!
Both of you made me laugh out loud for real!! Thanks for that!
I've only been here a week and I can't seem to get enough of it! Plus, I seem to be on everytime my son is napping, which is what he's doing now! I should be finishing up his scrapbook to send to his Grandma. Christmas is less than 10 days away!
No kidding...since I found this place(and I know it says August but I just joined then and was working so I didn't really check it out until Oct) my wrist hurts and I have totally worn out my computer chair :? My Dad came over and noticed and sent me a new one! Is he an enabler?
And, I keep thinking...when we go to Convention this year we should all wear an easily identifiable button...my name is laurelwright. I am an addict. That way we can meet in person and provide "support" for each other.
Having the option to make this our home page did not help our addiction!!! They are enablers!!! :o Now I ignore my IMs and don't get anything productive done on this thing!!!
Ok, yes, it keeps me happy and calm so in that aspect it is a good addiction. But on my wallet.......oh.......lets not go there.
I have not went to convention ever yet. But I agree.... we all need to come up a nametag to wear that signifies us. Like Laurel said, have our member name on it "Hi, I'm Angie Humphrey and I'm a SCS addict!"
Yeah, mine is just fine. But I don't really think I'd want to go somewhere with NiceRAK real big on my chest. That would be kind of fun though, wouldn't it?
